I would have give 5 but I would have liked to see another angle of the parts. Example the actual metal bracket.

Excellent customer service provided by Ana Calderon. Assisted me in finding the correct replacement parts for my 25 year old Freedom Chair. Purely aesthetics, mechanically functions exactly as it did when purchased.

Very easy to navigate site and find the parts I need to order. Checkout was very simple.

PayPal kept charging me each time I changed the payment method and it charged me over $600 across two cards.

UPDATE: I finally received the chair, it's a Freedom Ocean with Elmosoft leather and all the upgrades except for the extra padding on the seat.

UPDATE 2: downgrading from 4 to 3 stars, because the build quality of this chair is unacceptable for $3000. I was an idiot to buy it; don't be like me.

The initial impression was pretty poor. The chair components have play, and produce plasticky creaking and clacking sounds like a much cheaper chair would-- I really expected better there and I assume this can be improved with better machining? But maybe not.

The chair was also pretty uncomfortable at first.

But, both the leather and the mechanism relaxed after a few days of use, and I quite love it now. I do wish that I had gotten the extra padding option, but it's comfortable enough for a full workday as it is.

Still disappointed in the sounds that the chair makes, but I have fallen in love with the mechanism.

It's very cool, very physically intuitive. The chair gets out of your way and allows you to be comfortable however you choose to contort yourself in front of your desk.

I also love how pushing against the headrest doesn't move the backrest-- only pushing against the backrest does that. This allows me to stretch my back without losing balance, and if I'm lounging I can lift my back by placing weight on the headrest, and adjust clothing if it bunches up against the leather.

I'm keeping the chair. Maybe I can make mods to silence it.

I got a link to review my new leather Freedom chair but the shipment has been delayed three times and so I don't actually have it yet.

The website also needs a refreshed user interface with more consistency and attention to detail. I can't for the life of me tell the difference between a Freedom Headrest and a Freedom Ocean Headrest.

I'll edit this review when I receive the chair. But this is my first ever purchase of a "premium" product and I expected a better experience.
