I’ve used HyGuru’s Step 1 and Step 2 CK courses throughout my medical school experience thus far, and they’ve truly been some of the most valuable resources in my exam preparation. What stood out to me most was the focus on clinical reasoning and test-taking strategy, rather than just memorization. The way concepts are taught: emphasizing patterns, pertinent negatives, and building a differential, completely changed how I approach questions.

This course helped me think through problems in a more organized and clinically meaningful way, rather than getting lost in small details. Over time, that shift made a noticeable difference in both my confidence and performance.

I have gone through most of Dr Damania's (HYGuru) USMLE Step 1 videos system wise on his youtube channel and found them to be a helpful resource in interconnecting across different systems. They allowed me to have a holistic understanding of any given topic which boosted my test scores considerably in the final days nearing my Step 1 Exam!

I truly believe success is not only attainable but also seamless with the Hyguru course and the work with Dr. Damania. The mentorship you will receive for content and study strategies for Step 1 and Step 2 is truly phenomenal, and it makes the entire process extremely straightforward.

I had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Dr. Damania, where he walked me through several different techniques to help optimize my studying. Based on his suggestions, I started implementing a few changes that have made a huge difference in how I approach Step prep.

One of the most impactful things has been using the UWorld incorrect template in Notion to guide my review of question blocks. It helped me slow down and really distill what I needed to learn from each question instead of just reading the explanation and moving on. Having a structured way to review mistakes has made my question blocks much more productive and helped me focus on the key takeaways.

Another change was switching to a structured daily schedule instead of doing Pomodoro sessions back-to-back until I was exhausted. Even if I don’t check off every single item on my schedule each day, having a plan has significantly reduced the time I used to spend deciding what to do next. It also helps me stay focused during each block and makes it easier to see what I’ve accomplished instead of jumping between resources without a clear plan.

Overall, these strategies have made my studying feel much more organized, efficient, and intentional.

I spoke with Dr Damania 5 weeks before taking Step 1 and he introduced me to HyGuru prep’s Pass-Fail Step 1 Course. Easily one of the best resources for anyone who finds themselves lacking confidence in their test taking ability for Step 1. Each module is comprehensive, covers all the high yield content, and does so in an integrative, engaging, and active manner. the proof is in the pudding - I improved my repro endo EPC from my first CBSE to my next by a 30+ percent margin. I will certainly be coming back to Dr Damania and HyGuru Prep for Step 2 Ck studies!!!

I will give you a very honest take because many of these reviews seem scripted and AI generated. His youtube videos that he has for free are great I give them a 10/10, however the paid subcription is just him breaking those youtube videos into smaller clips and teaching a bit of some extra physio n biochem. The paid subcription does not teach anything HY it will seem like that at the start beacuse you may think oh this makes sense, it doesnt. Quite frankly my CBSE score after 1 month of using his content stayed the exact same. The way he goes over "tricks" and shortcuts is complete non-sense. What actually made my score jump and pass CBSE with an 78 and pass step 1 was the melhman free videos n docs. This guys content is not whats going to help you pass and his stuff is beyond basic and its not test relevant at all. He also wastes half ur time plugging other courses and webinars which are utter nonsense. I would like to have seen more honest reviews but thats not the case. Save your money, do anything else, if you want to spend money on something use the melhman Qbank.

That you so much for the USMLE Step 2 course. I just had few weeks left before my exam when I came across this course. I was anxious during those weeks but Dr. Damania did a really good job on how to solve questions and more importantly how to approach them. That really helped me a lot.
