I saw this “Hypercharger Pro” plug advertised through a long Instagram video claiming that modern phones are secretly slowed down by hidden software updates from big manufacturers like Apple and Samsung — and that this magical plug somehow “unlocks” your phone’s hidden performance and makes it last years longer without needing an upgrade.

The advert showed some dramatic story about a guy at an expo being thrown out by security because the big tech companies supposedly didn’t want people discovering the truth. Looking back now, the whole thing feels like a badly scripted conspiracy advert designed to trick people into buying rubbish.

Anyway, I ordered one to test it myself.

Absolute nonsense.

This thing is literally just a charger plug. It does NOT “remove hidden updates,” “restore performance,” “unlock battery life,” or do any of the ridiculous claims made in the advert. There’s no software, no diagnostics, no improvements — nothing. I charged my phone overnight multiple times and noticed absolutely zero difference. If anything, my battery seemed worse afterward.

The marketing is completely misleading and clearly designed to fool less technical people into believing there’s some secret technology inside this charger. There isn’t.

To make matters worse, trying to contact the company was almost impossible. I eventually had to contact my bank and start a credit card chargeback/refund because I got nowhere with customer support.

Avoid this company at all costs. In my opinion, this product is massively overhyped, misleading, and not remotely close to what the advert promises.

I returned my item using their return label. I asked for a full refund but instead they sent me another charger. They are not responding to any of my emails now and I have this charging unit that I do not want due to the poor quality. This has been ongoing since July 2025. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY as it looks as if I won’t get my money back now. ABSOLUTE RUBBISH.

Would give -10 stars if possible. This company is ok until you have an issue. Item sent was faulty- they agreed to a replacement & requested my delivery address which I sent them the same day. Now, about 2 months on & numerous follow-up emails, no replacement. They assured me the replacement was on its way about 2 1/2 weeks ago & it still hasn’t arrived. Don’t believe a word these people tell you. Product is rubbish, customer service is rubbish & they are liars & cheats. Would’ve been better buying for a fraction of the price from Temu - have never had an issue with them😝

Wish I could leave less!! Mine was faulty, caused a spark in connection. Several emails asking for return address but refused to give. BEWARE!!
