Paid $250 for an incomplete course, still not deliveredg specifically to Ibn…
I am referring specifically to Ibn Kathir Academy (online course provider).
I enrolled in the course Sharḥ al-Sullam al-Munawraq by al-Akhḍarī in Islamic Logic and Argumentation in 2024, for a total cost of $250. To this day, a significant portion of the course has still not been uploaded.
I was repeatedly told that the remaining content would be made available. These assurances were given more than once, yet they were never followed by any actual delivery. Despite multiple follow-ups on my part, I now receive no response at all.
This is not a minor delay. More than a year later, the course remains incomplete, while the full price was paid upfront.
This situation raises serious concerns about reliability and accountability, especially for a course dealing with the Islamic scholarly tradition, where fulfilling commitments and clarity in transactions are fundamental principles.
At this point, I am still waiting for either:
full access to the missing content, or
a partial refund corresponding to what was never delivered.
Until this is resolved, I cannot recommend this course.
