I have been very pleased with the professional guidance and advice provided by Andrew Walters at ICF Financial services.

I'd been looking for a financial services provider for some time and in the end picked ICF primarily because of location, the office in Cottingham is a short walk from home.There were a number of things that needed attention including consolidation of bits and pieces of old private pensions and a review of another company pension which was offering the opportunity to take the benefits early. The advice given by ICF was considered and clear and helped me make sense of some complicated pension history and options for the future. The subsequent annual reviews have been handled in a similarly professional way, as have some one-off questions about pensions and other policies. If I needed advice about anything to do with pensions and related matters I won't hesitate to contact ICF in the knowledge that they can be dealt with quickly and efficiently by phone or with a convenient meeting.

Andrew is very knowledgeable, and explains everything patiently and concisely. From the original meeting to explain about consolidating pension pots through to the annual review (or more often if wanted), I have felt as though I am a valued friend not just a client. My reactions are noted, and incorporated in the proposals suggested in an intelligent and thoughtful way, even if my attitude to risk is to shy away - I am reassured that my attitude is considered and used in making proposals.

ICF Financial and Andrew Walters, one of their advisors, were recommeneded to me by my daughter as I was approaching retirement. I found Andrew very helpful in sorting out my various pots of money and consolidating them into a single pension fund backed up by an ISA. I receive regular reports as to how things are going plus an annual home visit to revew things, even though I live the other side of the country from ICF.
