iFixandRepair - Northbridge Walmart  レビュー 2

I spent $330 for a refurbished iphone and the IMEI and the agent stated that the phone was unlocked. However, I spent 3 hours with AIRALO, and 3.5 hours with US MOBILE trying to port my telephone number to that phone. IT WOULD NOT WORK! Both companies told me that the phone is LOCKED.
So now I am stuck with a $330 phone that I cannot use!
There ought to be a law against fraud from IFIXANDREPAIR!

I cannot find a general review page for this terrible company, so i'm hoping the owners of this franchise will pass this along to their corporate headquarters.

This review is for how the corporate offices handled a dissatisfied client who took their laptop to the ifixandrepair franchise in Antioch, IL 60002.

The laptop would not charge. Instead of looking up the serial # and see the device was covered under their EXTENDED warranty (bought at that very Walmart), they decided it best to order another battery instead. It did not repair the issue. The store also lost their genuine charging cable and gave them a generic one that did NOT work.

The client then brought it to us, we ran the serial and found their warranty just expired -- literally ONE day before we got it. In other words, this sat at the walmart store under FULL warranty. The repair needed to be sent to the manufacturer for completion.

The manager at the store stated they NEVER look at the serial numbers of PCs to see if there is still warranty left.

We've tried multiple times to contact Corporate regarding this matter, but they do not want to reach out and discuss this. instead, they kept steering us to the ineffective store.

Shady at best. If you go to their website, they don't even mention the names of the "who we are" owners, only a pic.

What makes this worse is the client struggles with a health issue that makes it difficult to deal with this terrible customer service.

I expected more from a corporation that wants MORE franchisees.
