Cold calls and cold text messages. I asked them to add me to their no call list and they hung up on me.

How bizarre. I get a robo text asking for the first name of my wife. I ask who they are and I get a spiel from "Melissa" who explains that they are IG Financial Solutions and would I be interested in debt consolidation for multiple CC cards? I said I'm married to the person you are looking for but you are on the right track. I explained that I would speak with her about their services, and she replies with "OK I will remove you from our list..." Great marketing! If a company is that incompetent with communicating to potential customers, how good are they going to be with consolidating debt, I have to wonder. Yeah, I get it - "Melissa" was probably an AI ... but still. Speaks volumes.

I don't know how they got my information but they texted my unlisted number.

Since my phone blocks all calls and text from unknown number, they went to spam jail. I have since requested they remove all my private.

Buying and Selling our personal information should be illegal.
