Unreasonable price increases for IKEA Greece.
As of 2/2/2022 prices on all product categories (almost all anyway) have increased by at least 26% and on some occasions even more than 60%. More specifically yesterday 1/2/2022 I tried to purchase some Ivar items but couldn't go through with the purchase due to internet issues at home. I tried to complete the order today and realized that the 226mm by 50mm poll (874.894.09) has increased by 67%. This is unprecedented. Similar situation on most Ikea items.
Funny story is that when I called and asked if that was a mistake, the justification was due to covid, as if the prices will be decreased once the crises is over. Another funny story is that although all items in IKEA have seen a significant increase in price, items with high sale rate have been increased dramatically.
There is room of improvement
I bought from the Kiffsia store online on IKEA.gr slow delivery and delayed delivery on 3 out of 3 deliveries, took almost 14 days to bring something from within Athens, if you have a car, go and pick it up your self much better.
When it comes to the physical store, I love it, and I give 3 because the user-friendlyness of the website is among the best in Greece, easy to search, save items for later, see availability, where to find, and it is a nice for me to be able to choose English instead of Greek
The staff in the store is polite but online is useless.

IKEA has been my favourite since I iived in Dubai for 13 years . I bought a magnolia color bed with thick mattress in 2007 but had to leave it sadly when I left Dubai . I just enjoyed shopping in there as price range are something that I can afford plus variety of choices too in furniture. Now I have moved to Uk and still shopping their products. My husband ordered dining chairs and they are so cool. Their cute portable laundry basket are my favourite too . And since I am not a fan of the gardening , their beautiful artificial plants make our home keep very much greenery and alive . My husband loves their orchids plants . I just wish they could make customised furniture as I want to design and color my own to fit in my home as I wish .
Bad Delivery Service from Chania branch of IKEA
placed an order for two mattresses with the Chania branch of IKEA (at a cost of Euros1400) Delivery was arranged for a specific day (11/11) but the delivery driver/truck didn't turn up, when I phoned IKEA eventually got a series of excuses and incorrect statements namely a total inability to inform me as to when the delivery would take place and why the scheduled one did not take place. Totally unacceptable delivery service (from an IKEA sub-contract delivery company)

5 αναβολες απο την μεταφορικη Δελατολα μεχρι να μας φερουν τα πραγματα. Τελικα ηρθε μονο οταν θελησαμε να ακυρωσουμε την παραγγελια και μαλιστα στις 18:30 το απογευμα λιγο πριν βγουμε εξω. Το προσωπικο ευγενικο αλλα οι προσπαθειες αχρηστες. Πισω απο το ΙΚΕΑ ειναι η εταιρια Φουρλης που εφερε την ΙΚΕΑ στην Ελλαδα. Ισως και για αυτο να υπαρχει αυτο το χαος. Ηταν η πρωτη και τελευταια παραγγελια μας στο ΙΚΕΑ Ελλαδας.
Avoid
I can only reiterate what everyone else says. Very, very poor customer service. I have used IKEA in UK several times without incidence but having had a delivery postponed and made several telephone calls, I will not use them again. I'm still waiting for my goods although I have received a text that they are delivering them.

15 days from a cancelled order . No goods , no money back , nobody at the customer service. The worst commercial experience in my life . Thank you IKEA GREECE...

E-shop Idea- NOT for Ikea.
Compare to many many small businesses that have e-shop in Greece, such a shark as Ikea simply loose its position. The shopping online is a dissapointment. Even their smaller competitor (Jysk) is doing better. The waiting time is way too long for a small country! The tracking of package is like we live in a 16th century. And the support of Ikea can't even provide with the correct contact number of their courier company. I know they don't give a "f" of our opinions here but I want other customers to be informed. Thanks.

Very bad company. After the buying they don't even care about the product that they have sell, even though it is broken or else. Also they copperate with the worst delivery company here in Greece...
I have made an on line order which a month after it has not arrived yet
I have made an on line order which was supposed to arrive to me after 10 days maximum. A month after not only Haven't I received my order but the costumer service seems to be fooling me.
I have tried to call ikea several times (6) and all the time they tell that they are going to check it out and let know. I stopped calling them beacause there was no sense anymore even though i dont have neither news from them neither my order.

Utterly unacceptable costumer service. Prepaid orders are not delivered even after 2 months of waiting, and in cancel of cancellation are not refunded. For IKEA's name this should be outrageous. They are just manipulate customers.

The worst costumer and delivery service. I've placed an order in 13/12/2020. The day is 28/12/2020 and I haven't received my items!!! I tried calling like 308.894 times the answered once and the told me because of the lock down we have a large amount of orders and it's coming from Athens! We are 2 months now in lock down and it's the second lock down they should have been prepared and also I live in Thessaloniki about 500km away from Athens so I believe from 13/12/2020 to 28/12/2020 and still haven't received it, it must be coming with snails. Very frustrated and disappointed.
DOUBLE CHARGED! NO REFUND
07/11/2020 ESHOP IKEA of GREECE double charged my credit card with the amount of 336.83 €.
From 07/11 until today 21/12/20 i spoke with customer service and nothing done yet or have i got any information about this case.

I ordered a mirror and a light on 11 of November. The items came broken. Today is 21 of December and still haven't received my new items as they told me. NO communication, NO customer service, nothing... In the Uk in 2 days you have everything delivered home. I just can't understand!

I bought online a desk and a mirror. Since there are delays with the delivery due to the lockdown, I managed to call Ikea after many attempts and asked them to pick up the order myself from a shop. I even asked not to waive the charges for the delivery thinking this is doable. To my surprise the agent said that the system will not allow us to do this and explained how this will not work. As a solution, the agent asked me to cancel the order and do another order with the pick up option. I found this very annoying. I am trying to find an easy solution to pick up for an order I paid and the agent is restricting it. When I asked to speak to a person in charge to help me, I was told there is no-one available. I cannot understand why I am not allowed to pick up my order. Why IKEA is so rigid with bureaucracy and with people who are not empowered to find a solution to guests problems. Finally when I asked for the delivery date of my order as I had no option left, the agent said sometimes after Christmas probably before new years eve. This is more than 15 to 20 days from order time. The agent was not able to solve my issue and was not able to give me a date for the delivery. I had a solution that is win win for both but the agent refused it. Very disappointing to see an International company acting with such bureaucracy, ignoring the guest satisfaction.
Customer experience
Worse experience, the eshop from IKEA in Greece, has the worse customer and resolation experience. They are not organize in any level. With a bit higher level of orders and as they don't have enough staff (which is there fault), and they cannot proceed anything in a proper way. I have placed an order on the 5th of November, now we have 7th of Decemeber and still I am waiting to be delevered to me. And whenever you are calling them they do not have access to check what their system shows for my order. They need to contact the eshop and find out. Honestly the worse experience, if I will not receive them till Wednsdayh I will ask to be refunded, doesn't worth this hassle. In UK they will have give me proper answers already plus discount for a next order just as a compensation. IKEA should have act the same in every country and has the same values when it comes to its customers. It's a shame.

On the website if the transportation company was mentioned that it was delivered.
I do understand technical issues. I do NOT understand no communication.
