Still waiting on a settlement which I'm confident will never happen. This company screwed me over with the date of the move, significant damage to my furniture and charging me $500.00 at delivery for a "shuttle" charge which was never disclosed during the negotiations. My furniture was put on 4 different trucks from Indiana to Florida, took 2 weeks which was never agreed upon and several thousand dollars worth of damage was done to my furniture due to incorrect packing according to the delivery men. I filed several reports for damages and still have no response after 2 months of trying to get a settlement. This company is terrible and takes no responsibility for anything. Customer service is non existent! NEVER USE ILLINOIS MOVERS!

I recently used the services of IllinoisMoversInc.com for my move, and I must say I'm sincerely impressed!

I was particularly concerned about some antique pieces and a large mirror, but to my relief, everything reached the destination intact.
What truly stood out though was the team's professionalism. They were efficient, courteous, and went above and beyond to accommodate all requests. In addition, I was pleasantly surprised by their punctuality at both the pick-up and delivery locations.
The pricing was transparent with no hidden charges, which, from past experience, is not always the case with moving companies. The value for money is incredible, considering the high-quality service they provide.
In conclusion, IllinoisMoversInc.com took the stress out of my moving process. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The sales process was great, until they get your money. Then it goes downhill from there. The day of the move, I was told my move was going to be $2,000 MORE than the quote. During the transistion, while I was waiting on my shipment, not one person, including my salesman Richard Zubek called me back after I left messages. When my things finally arrived, my tv was smashed and the driver charged me ANOTHER $500 to put together a desk THEY took apart. This move was a nightmare!! I’ve been calling all day to put in a claim for damages, but again NO ANSWER. During the sales process they took every call, now it’s just crickets. Use anyone but Illinois Movers for your next move. This was painful!

The movers arrived on time and treated everything with care. They were respectful and kind. I was blown away with how fast they worked. Antonio, Carlos, and Tony.... I can't sing their praises enough. They worked together and asked questions to make sure everything went were it was supposed to go. When moving big furniture they made sure not to hit walls.
This was beyond what I was expecting. So thankful that I found this company. I will be recommending them to everyone!

it was a great experience. The office manager, Tami, was incredibly helpful and patient throughout the entire process. The movers worked seamlessly as a team, staying efficient and focused. It was clear they weren’t dragging their feet to stretch out the time. Thanks to their efficiency, the final bill was actually lower than the original estimate, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely use them again.

Very professional, moved everything to a third floor apartment. We told them the wrong address by accident, and they gave us a 5 minute credit, which was really nice! Will use again.

They made sure our fragile items were packed safely, the furniture covered and wrapped, unloaded, put together beds and furniture, and even made a stop at our storage unit. Cannot thank them enough for their professionalism and fun personalities relieving us of the stress of another move. 😀

My experiences with Donald and his company have always been positive and straight forward. Him and his crew have been intimate with my trucks, tools, equipment, my wallet, my kids…I have trusted him as a personal friend and professional contact for 6 years now. He and company are trustworthy, reliable, and have immense integrity. As a businessman, I can tell you - we can’t make everyone happy, and some folks want something for nothing.

They came early - they did everything quick. Super personable super easy to work with. Moved it in light speed - no damages - helped unpacking, asked if we needed anything else, and were very kind and professional throughout the whole process. I only hire this company for moving and recommend them to everyone. 10/10 stars and would hire every single time. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I've hired Illinois Movers for three different moves and your crews are always friendly and easy-going. Our most recent move, Ty and Angel flew up and down the stairs, making it look easy while Kenny performed a Tetris miracle to get everything arranged securely into the truck. I booked a long-distance move with Illinois Movers Inc. under a binding estimate (Job No: R7171028) that included a confirmed pickup window of April 6–7 and delivery between April 18–19. The initial coordination with Randy was smooth — he was polite and helpful.

However, what followed was one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional moving experiences I’ve ever encountered.

On April 6, I was told they would arrive the next morning (April 7). Then on the morning of April 7, I received a call saying “the truck broke down.” Later, they said they would still come on the same day (April 7) — but they only showed up around 7:00 PM, after keeping me waiting all day.

When the crew arrived, one mover rudely claimed I had exceeded my inventory by 100 cubic feet — without measuring anything — and demanded $1,500 more on the spot. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges, he refused and instead called me a “bastard” in front of my wife and walked off without completing the move.

They later tried to cover the situation by falsely stating that I canceled the move, which is completely untrue. I was ready to proceed, but I wasn’t going to tolerate verbal abuse or hidden charges.

They have since processed my refund — but the experience, stress, and disrespect were unacceptable. I’ve attached a photo of the individual who treated us this way so others can be aware.

If you’re considering this company, document everything — emails, call times, inventory, photos. You should not have to go through this kind of treatment during an already stressful life event.

I coordinated with Illinois Movers to move me back into my apartment following a year away. They were able to meet with a friend of mine and get everything back in place at home while I was still away. They were timely and respectful of my items. I will use their services in the future. Can't recommend them enough!

Illinois Movers made my move from Chicago to NYC a piece of cake. They were super communicative and organized, all of my items were safely packed, everything arrived just as it had left, and the workers were friendly and efficient. I will most definitely be hiring them again and highly recommend!

the Illinois Movers could not have been more friendly and intentional in making time and space, asking me what exactly I needed to be moved and giving me different options of ways certain items could be packed if they were not already. They were friendly and clean! They laid down walking mats in my apartment to avoid tracking in any dirt, and we also had a great conversation. I would 10/10 recommend them to anyone!

We hired some bad movers early in the day that messed everything up and Mike and John fixed everything turned the whole day around! I called them Sunday evening last minute and they came through with a smile and amazing work ethic. Highly reliable and highly recommend.

Best moving experience that I've ever had! They were so efficient and so friendly! We had prepared as much as possible but even so we had run out of tape for 1 or 2 boxes, and the movers provided a little extra tape. They even helped me back the truck in for our new home. Seriously, Mike and the crew are awesome!!
