My initial engagements withe the company were for the most part were acceptable. I worked with John Albert throughout the writing of my book. In 2024/2025 during the fires John kept in touch with updates. During this point a company ordered 700 books which according to our agreement I paid for upfront over $4,000. My last contact with John stated that the books had been printed and would be delivered. Several months later after I didn't hear back so I called and was told that John had been terminated. I asked how we could resolve this, they sent me a plan in which they would pay me over time, sent it to my attorney. My attorney has sent to certified letter and haven't received a response. I just wanted answers; where are the books, are you still marketing my book, and most importantly where is my money?

My project required detailed

My project required detailed, expressive characters, and I couldn't have found a better team for the job. Every character had personality, movement, and perfect facial expressions. They understood my vision and added their creative touch to make it even better. I'm so happy with the client.

This company is terrible and a complete


This company is terrible and a complete fraud. I ordered 100 books from this company, paid upfront, and 6 months later they have only delivered 30 books. They continually lied to me, saying that the shipment was lost by UPS, or that the book printing process was imperfect and needed to be reprinted. Do not waste your time, energy or money with this company.

Fraud

Fraud. They did not honor their marketing contract. I have everything in writing. They did not generate one sale from my book. They stopped responding after saying the their promised refund would be deposited. They are a fraud and need to be stopped.

Took my money but left the project hanging

Its been a year and they did not deliver as promised within a 6 month period. I was OK with that. But they changed my manager and asked me to work with a new manager. We worked well initially but then things started getting very slow and minor revisions that could have been done instantly took over 2 weeks sometimes. Formatted versions were not editable and it was a pity because I could have edited it in a second. When I reached out to Jason Osborne, who signed me up, he said he would take care of it and call me but nothing has been done since last 2 months. They got upset as I initially wrote a review about the inefficiency of the project manager to understand the customer's requests and make the changes correctly. Jason said that the project will move forward only if I removed the review I had made initially. I was not OK with that and said I would write another positive review if the project manager helped me complete my project. They have not corresponded with me since two months.

I cannot express how much I love the job May has done. She is efficient, pays attention to detail and her work has surpassed the vision in my mind.

Don’t work with this company

Don’t work with this company. If they will steal from a terminally ill person they will steal from anyone. $3700 they received and barely did $1500 dollars worth of work. No ads were made. They didn’t start promoting my book until after the release. Never again. Scam artist at their best
. Update
 I have won my dispute as well as this company has stopped communicating because they are a fraud. I rest my case

Who Are they really?

The first "project manager" they assigned suddenly disappeared and I got no communication from anyone for 2 weeks then Jason Osborn called me and said he'd been in an accident and that he was going to take over. Then he disappeared and a week later calls me and said he was sick that's why he didn't respond. What kind of company stops working because somebody in their staff got sick? Now I'm almost 2 months behind on the work I needed from them with no drawings that indicated they understood the project even after they were given the drawings that we need to continue on with. I currently reported them to my credit card company as scammers that are using various companies that you will see on your bill and it says that I charged software not artwork. Name on credit billing is Fort Worth Texas shown as Creative Company. They said they're physical address is in Fremont California. I researched the address and it's a shop building with several small companies and they are not even listed on the building occupants. They will probably say that they are using yet a different name to work out of this building. I don't trust them because they don't operate like a legitimate or professional company.
It's 1-6-23 and Steven Smith sent drawings that were not what I asked for. I still don't know where their main office actually is and where this work is being done. We have products based off the comic and we can't sell them because now there's no one to do the same styling as the last artist who had not been available soon enough which caused us to try to find a company that could devote full time and allow us to be able to meet deadlines with certainty. When you go with someone in earnest and meet their initial agreements it's very disappointing to be in this predicament.

Update today 2/3/23

4 days after I requested a refund I got a response saying they were sorry things didn't work out and they were going to process a refund for me. Because I didn't get any response from them and felt like they were going to disappear now that I requested a refund, I alerted my credit card company that I feel something is very strange about this company. They were unhappy that I notified the credit card company and said that I should have asked them first, but with $3000 dollars already paid in of course I'm going to panic because I'm paying interest on this money while nothing was occurring. On the last phone call I took them in earnest when they said they're going to refund it so I alerted my credit card company that things had been resolved between the company and myself directly. Hopefully they'll make good on the refund but they said it would take a little longer because of my credit card being involved with it first so I'm going to wait and see. I'm still unsure who they really are and with a history of spotty communication it's very weird. I did run down the reasons in an email as to how the way they do business is very odd and how when I called after not getting any responses everything either goes to an answering service and one phone number was even disconnected after I was assured it was a direct line to the new project manager. And again I need to reiterate that the original project manager apparently was in some sort of accident and 2weeks went by with no communication until Jason called me and told me by phone that the first project manager had been in an accident and was no longer the point of contact.Of course now I wished I could have gotten these phone communications in writing. Although I enjoy verbal phone conversations when we're talking about creative things sometimes we forget that certain aspects of doing business need to be in writing when there's contracts involved. If I do in fact get this refund with no more guff I will update this review again.

Still no refund and no response to inquiries.

I recently received an email from Trustpilot saying that I E would like more information so they can better respond to this review. 1. Everything I have said about the way they have handled this contract is truthful based on what can be known about this company and their many off-shoot names being either Illustration Experts, Indigo Logo Design UK, and a charge to my credit card by Creative Company in Fort Worth TX. 2. On Wed. 3/15/2023 I was finally able to reach Steven Smith by phone where he said once again that he wants a confirmation from my bank that they gave back the money so they can refund it. The money has been sitting in a holding account waiting for action by them to "request" it back. I E please respond to this by telling me and the rest of the world your reason now? You obviously have a way to charge clients so why didn't you know how to get it back? Is my credit card company lying? Another review on them here in Dec. 2022 has the same complaint. If it's false then why is it still on TP?
