Great for peace of mind and thorough
I was very relaxed and treated with dignity. They did a thorough scan and were amazing with explaining everything. I went after being referred for an emergency ultrasound which the NHS said would take 8 weeks! I had been in the hospital prior for suspected appendicitis. I was very worried about the pain in my side so decided to go ( definitely worth it and such a good price. I can't remember my clinicians name but she was from the Philippines and very informative and kind.

Excellent Filipino lady sonographer
I had a really positive experience at this ultrasound clinic. The team is consistently supportive and goes out of their way to help you feel at ease throughout your visit. This was my second appointment with the Filipino lady sonographer, and once again she was excellent—very knowledgeable and thorough, always taking the time to walk me through everything and answer any questions I had.
The entire staff is kind, professional, and welcoming, which makes a big difference during what can sometimes be a stressful experience. They create a comfortable and reassuring environment from start to finish. I truly appreciate the level of care and attention provided here and would highly recommend this clinic to others.

Imaginatal gave my husband and I the most special moment we could ask for. We booked a lux 4D scan and it was completely magical. All the staff are so welcoming and friendly, the vibe is completely relaxing and during the wellbeing check, everything was explained clearly so we knew exactly what was being looked at. Our baby covered his face during the scan, but the package covered two rescans if we were unsuccessful. The sonographer did everything she could to get us the clearest images of our baby boys face. We attended 3 scans in total and were encouraged to come back each time as they were determined to get us the best pictures. We have the loveliest keepsakes including 5 prints of our baby in 3D, a magnet, keyring and a teddy with our baby's heartbeat inside. You are also sent all pictures taken throughout the scan and a screen recording of the session. We 100% recommend imaginatal to anyone considering getting a private scan!

Fertility scan for IVF treatment abroad
Very professional and empathic, made me feel very at ease. The scan was very thorough and the sonographer spoke to me and described everything in detail all the way through and made it very easy to understand. The report was ready and in my inbox by the time I got home - made it very quick and easy to send to my IVF consultant abroad.

Imaginatal Bristol were wonderful! They provide a warm, peaceful, welcoming environment. I went in for an early assurance scan and the sonographer was so sweet and professional. She was informative and answered questions with great detail. They're fabulous and I highly recommend them!

Super friendly welcoming staff
Super friendly welcoming staff, the sonographer was so nice and helpful and really added to the excitement of our gender reveal scan. It was a wholesome experience after our 12 week scan wasn't really at the hospital so restored our faith in the process.

Unprofessional Overall
On 8/3 I went to a different private clinic to have a reassurance scan, I was told it was too early and they can see the gestational sack and yolk sack but not the embryo yet and they referred me to St.Michaels early pregnancy unit. On 11/03 I had a scan with the unit and they have identified the embryo and detect the heartbeat very clearly. The imagining was also quite magnified and very clearly visible. Unfortunately I did not have my partner with me so I booked another scan on 15/03 so that my partner can see the baby and the heartbeat as well.
I booked it with this clinic at this time because regardless how good the previous clinic was I had a negative feeling associated to it (nothing to do with the clinic) so wanted go somewhere with a positive energy. We went there and immediately the clinic looks quite run down compared to the first clinic I went to. No hand towels in the toilet(you need to go outside and take on top of the water cooler.) Also they do not have disposable water cups but plastic reusable kid cups which is not hygienic for a clinic environment. I was called in by the sonographer into the room. The seat was not prepared from the previous patient and there were ripped paper towels on the bed and on the floor. Then she told me to take off my clothes below waist but didn`t provide any gown or anything to cover myself with apart from a paper towel. When the scan started she had a very difficult time to locate the yolk sack and the fetal pole. Couldn`t magnify the image at all. All looked extremely small on the screen and she struggled to take measurements, Then proceeded to tell me that she can`t see a heartbeat and anything can happen at this time. She failed to answer any of the questions and just give general repeated answers. She said she will refer me to the hospital again. On the way out I was pushed to book a second appointment with them while I clearly told them I won`t make any other appointments without going to the hospital scan as what is the point?? They didn`t tell me anything about a report and we just left. I then received a report via email in my spam and it said that they saw an echogenic structure that might be a fetal pole with no cardiovascular enhancement with question marks. I told them clearly that the hospital clearly identified the embryo and also we saw the heart beat. I understand the heartbeat can stop and the baby can stop developing but it doesn`t change the fact that it is a fetal pole and not just an echogenic structure. Now I am waiting for the hospital scan to see what is actually happening and it is extremely stressful. The sonographer didn`t give us an impression of a qualified, certified, trained and experienced professional at all. The cleanness and the state of the scan room was also very questionable. And we paid £104 for this. Regardless of what the outcome with this, I will never come back to this place. I would avoid this place for early pregnancy screening as clearly they are not trained for it.

However, in early pregnancy scans, findings can sometimes be very sensitive and reports may be worded cautiously when there is any uncertainty. Our intention is always to act in the patient’s best interests and ensure there is no delay in onward referral or follow-up where needed.
We are sorry that you felt unsupported and dissatisfied with both the communication during the scan and the wording of the report. That is never the experience we want for our patients.

The atmosphere in the waiting room is very calm and pleasant. The reception area is a little dark, which adds a sense of intimacy and comfort and helps you relax. The staff are very nice and friendly. I highly recommend it.
