Absolutely amazing. We may have not gotten a FREE book every single month but even if we only got one book I'd still be happy as this is completely free and not at all costing anyone a penny. Entitlement is absolutely insane nowadays. This program should be at 5 stars

I'm a Mamaw. I encourage all my kids and in-laws to register all the grandkids. I enjoy seeing their face when I bring the mail in and tell them. Look, you have a new book.
There for a while not all counties in Kentucky had the program. I believe now it has reached almost everyone. I love what Dolly is doing. She has the biggest heart for our children.

Books never come monthly or at all ( I signed my son up in April 2024 & received 2 books) and when you try to reach out they give you a rude email telling you to contact your local postmaster to get it resolved. LAME! Now, there is a license plate going to fund the book program even further…could be a cool program if it actually worked.

I signed my daughter up August 6th of 2023. She got her first book mid September which was fine. It was a different book than what the website said she would be getting, but no big deal. It is now November 21st and we haven't received another one since. 2 stars only because she got at least 1 free book.

I signed up my 2 children in April 2023. We didn’t get their first books til July, they aren’t different ages and on website they were supposed to get different books but they were the exact same book. Now it’s august and my oldest got her book this month but my youngest hasn’t. There’s no way on the website to let them know you haven’t received books, much less see what previous books you were supposed to get. I wish this book process was smoother because this could be such a cool program.

We keep getting the same books over n over it's getting ridiculous and I keep trying to email or call and no one ever responds and they kicked my 5 year old saying she was to old who is to old to read like get real

Signed up in June 2022 for one child and dec 2019 for another and haven't received any books. Starting to think this entire thing is just a way to get peoples information to sell to marketing companies ugh. I regret even signing up.

Refused to deliver to Portland Oregon...... One of the most diverse cities around.....we were able to receive books in Veneta Oregon..a oure white town! Pretty racist

This is an amazing thing. It takes a while for your first book, but this is FREE and the the girls LOVE their monthly book.

I signed my daughter up in May 2022. It is now almost September and she has not received any of her books. I have been in contact with the local chapter in my area but they are of no help.
Would NOT recommend this to anyone, even though it is free as they do not deliver as promised.

This would be a great thing but ever since I signed my three girls up I have been having issues, like months where books don't even show up.

They keep emailing me about my application for my children.
Trust me I haven't applied for this service.
My children are 32 years and 29 years old. If I had applied I think I'm a bit late.
It's been a worry for me as there are so many s scamers about.

Tried to sign my niece and nephews up and there are no locations in the WA or GA. I have 3 nephews and a niece that would love to receive books and they can't because there are no surrounding locations. Definitely a disappointment because I would have loved to sign them up so that when I visit I can read them books as well as them enjoying the books on their own.

So, kids have brains, right? And they start out real small and unimpressive. I know people say, “Your baby is learning so much!” but they really don’t know anything. You know what helps them know things, though? Books. Not even highly informative books like $2.00 a Day: Living on Almost Nothing in America, but books that read like an alien pretending to be human: “This is an egg. The egg is white. Yolk is yellow.” Kids love it! And Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library provides each registered child with an age-appropriate book per month until the child turns five. It’s free! Even better: The books aren’t about egg colors. They’re paperback, educational, colorful, and full of Dolly’s love.
