I'm a director at FHA Architecture & Design, a small/medium-sized commercial/residential architectural practice based in Dublin, Ireland. We received our first iMapper in November 2026, and it quickly proved itself the most valuable tool in the office. We now digitally scan, with photos, full houses within an hour and then send those scans to another drafting company to draw up. As we have the original scan data, we can check to ensure everything is drawn exactly correct. The iMapper stitching algorithm is invaluable, as it generates wall thickness, voids, box-outs, etc., which are often missed using traditional survey methods. Our productivity has now gone from working on one or two houses a week to five or six. We have now ordered a second iMapper so our staff can undertake concurrent surveys.

The iMapper has been a huge time-saver for creating accurate floor plans quickly and reliably—perfect for remodel work.
My sales rep, Ricky, was knowledgeable and helpful from the first conversation, making the purchase process smooth. Dylan, my trainer, has been fantastic too. Both have provided outstanding, flexible support as I learn the system. They're very responsive, patient with my questions, and clearly know the product inside out—always ready to walk me through features or troubleshoot.
If you're a contractor doing remodels and need precise as-builts fast, the iMapper (and especially this team) is highly recommended. Thanks, Ricky and Dylan—you've made the transition easy and effective!

Customer service is none existent. Our Imapper is just coming up to 12 months old. I have left voice messages, emails and tried their chat and cannot get a response. Very poor

Bonne expérience et relevé accéléré. Par contre le prix de l'abonnement mensuel est prohibitif et ne sert pratiquement pas. Il s'agit d'un programme assez basique dont les options ne servent pas vraiment. Les avantage du relevé tienne dans le fait qu'on puisse comparer entre photos prises et point du nuage 2D. Il faudrait une formule moins cher.

Outils fabuleux et précis. Un immeuble à rénover de 4 étages, vieux, hors d'équerre, exiguë, cage d'escalier, terrasse en toiture...etc. 2 heures sur place pour tout prendre, mesures et photos (Imaper + photo).
Pour les cuisines équipées du coup, c'est impeccable aussi et ça fait son effet auprès de mes clients. Bref, je l'ai...je le garde.
Quant à l'application, il ne faut pas sortir de saint cyre pour l'utiliser. Perso sur Sketchup en tant qu'architecte d'intérieur et Insitu pour les cuisines.

Ho provato questo strumento 2 volte per rilievi interni di abitazioni e 1 volta per rilievo di una piccola piazza di un centro storico.
Per quanto riguarda la facilità d'uso, la leggerezza dello strumento, la trasmissione dei dati al computer e la precisione millimetrica, dò 5 stelle.
5 stelle anche per i rilievi interni, soprattutto se si trovano murature "fuori squadra".
Per quanto riguarda invece i rilievi esterni, bisogna prestare attenzione alle giornate di troppo sole perchè si rischia di non vedere il laser (stessa cosa vale anche per un distanziometro qualunque). Nel mio caso, fare un rilievo in centro storico, con un passaggio importante di persone, è stato impegnativo e un collega ha "diretto il traffico pedonale".
No dò il massimo della valutazione, perchè comunque iMapper non sostituisce completamente tutta la strumentazione del tecnico rilevatore. Per esempio le misure nette delle porte-finestre perimetrali e le altezze dei vani, preferisco ancora misurarle con il mio vecchio distanziometro.
Infine, il costo del prodotto risulta non essere accessibile a tutti; difficile valutare in quanto tempo si riesca ad ammortizzare.
Spero di aggiornare la recensione tra qualche mese. Per il momento sono molto soddisfatto.

Being an Architect I have been spending too much time taking surveys and there was always one measure missing (because the client talks to me while I do the surveys, because I am tired and the survey takes the whole day...) and I was never sure about my measurements (with potential catastrophes in the moment of the construction and material purchase). Since I started using iMapper I can speed up my process, trust my measurements and have more time to design.
Great customer support team as well that guides you since the first steps of the training with iMapper and any time in need (by phone, email, chat..!)
Definetely recommended!

Die digitale Messung mit dem iMapper war so einfach und hat nicht viel Zeit in Anspruch genommen. Ich war ein wenig skeptisch, was die Genauigkeit angeht, aber nachdem ich es ausprobiert hatte, konnte ich die Ergebnisse nicht glauben... Auch das 30 Tage Probeabo finde ich eine super Sache und ich bin absolut überzeugt

It is extraordinary!!
On site we saved 75% of the time (a working day in 2 hours) without any risk of error.
And even with PC work we saved 75% of the time.
Plus the automatic photo report is awesome and super useful.

A product that I recommend to any architect or engineer.
