We booked our daughter in for the IMIT 11+ mock exams after hearing about them through another parent, and I'm so glad we did. From start to finish the whole experience was smooth and well organised — clear instructions beforehand, a calm environment on the day, and no last-minute confusion.
What really impressed me, though, was the wonderful report afterwards! My daughter sat mock exam organised by other providers as well, but the IMIT report went into more granular level of detail. It broke down exactly where she had gone wrong, highlighted the specific gaps in her knowledge, and gave clear, practical improvement areas rather than vague comments. It actually told us what to do next, which is exactly what you want as a parent trying to help at home (we are DIY parents).
The creative writing marking stood out the most. Instead of a quick tick-and-grade, the feedback engaged properly with her actual writing — what worked, what didn't, and how she could lift the quality. It was thoughtful and constructive, and you could tell the teacher who marked it had really read her work rather than skimmed it.
We came away with a clear picture of where she stands and a real plan for the weeks ahead. Highly recommend IMIT 11+ to any parent, we are definitely going to book more mocks!

The teacher was very friendly and enthusiastic about how to write a good story. She presented a PowerPoint with different techniques children may want to use to help them plan a new fictional story such as ising a mind map. She was very interactive and asked my child open ended questions to help him use his imagination and to help him link different ideas together.
