Good service. Arrived promptly repaired the appliance.

Very good service

I recently had an issue with my washer/dryer which I've had for 6 years. I called the helpline on the machine and the man on the phone was friendly and clear about the options available to me. He arranged for an engineer to come out in a couple of days.

The engineer was on time, also friendly, fixed the issue (a broken part) and offered advice on dealing with an unpleasant odour - which was outside the scope of the call out. He was able to sell me a cleaner that will hopefully help with the odour as he had it in the van. I have already tried various methods so hopefully this one will help.

Overall I was happy with the level of care and ease of arranging this repair.

Purchased Indesit EIB15050A1D.UK1 Integrated 50/50 Fridge Freezer, SKU: 700030871, from a retailer in Ireland on 9th September 2021. Delivered to us 16th September 2021.
On 30th March 2023, just after filling both fridge and freezer with over €100 worth of consumables, it stopped cooling/ freezing. Light was coming on so no problem with power.
Everything in the fridge was ruined and had to be destroyed.
Worst part was the Indesit helpline and trying to get assistance. My husband was transferred 3 times, all saying, they would transfer him again, to be eventually cut off.
I understand a warranty being 12 months, but to not be able to receive any advice or assistance without paying an extortionate fee after having the fridge freezer just over 18 months is just not acceptable.
We've always taken care of our appliances, (we had our previous fridge freezer for just over 20 years).
The outcome was that we had to purchase a new fridge freezer, pay for delivery and restock ruined items, all costing over €750.
Avoid Indesit at all costs. Poor products and even worse customer service.

The speed of the fix really was second to none

The engineer knew exactly what he was doing. He knew what the problem was and had it fixed and sorted within at least 20 minutes excellent service. The engineers name is Chris

Rang Indesit from Ireland twice this morning, spoke to 3 people, after giving information I was cut off each time. Livechat doesnt seem to recognise Irish phone no. in any format, nor does the online form to book a repair.

The service is very helpful and on time and job has been done brilliantly thanks
