Hi Donna, as discussed over the phone and after examining your photos this is a brand new waste bottle the cotton is pure and clean and included in the box was the instructions, this is a new model and maybe you haven't purchased waste bottles before for this particular model i have also spent the time and checked several other waste bottle on the shelf and they ALL have some scratches on the bottom. and really come on its a waste bottle!!!
this review is a false review.

I can relate to your frustration the printer is showing online as backordered. With the influx of orders we receive, we couldn't keep up with the pace. We tried getting back to you sooner by calling you once but we didn't try again. I deeply apologize for this and I will make sure I reply faster to requests.
