If I could give a negative 10 I would.
We have been with innovation for ten years.
We ran into issues where we got laid off(years ago and out of my control and subsequently had to sort things out(WENT LITTLE DELINQUENTon a few things but never missed a mortgage payment)a few things.instead of helping when the it was time for renewal we got forced into a really high interest rate (keep in mind we never missed a payment EVER) and when my wife's immediate family member passed away IN ANOTHER COUNTRY they couldn't wait for a couple more weeks till she got back instead they forced us(threaten foreclosure) in a very emotionally delicate situation if we didn't sign. Fast forward to today we HAVE to sell our house because these guys refuse to allow us to remortgage instead of helping people and allowing them to get back on their feet they rather financially excicute some one because of a mistake we made years ago knowing we can't go anywhere yet. It's a really terrible way to treat people and bully people around because of circumstances out of our control. Instead of helping us get up keep in mind (0 MISSED PAYMENTS AND LATE ALMOST NEVER TECHNICLLY.)now we are trying to sort out things and save abit(be responsible). These guys are being extremely difficult and will not do ANYTHING to help when they can easily do so. If you are with these guys and you have a mortgage if you plan on doing and financial reorganizing they will slap you with a nosebleed interest rate knowing you can't go anywhere and basically set you up for failure your trying to steer out of bankruptcy but the litterly grab the wheel and step on the gas..... Absolutely rediculous and predatory. Sure I went thru some tuff times but instead of helping they "beat you down" until your broke. Absolutely shitty approach to customer service.my mortgage is @7% and they refuse to give a little relief or concessions we need a little relief instead they double down and try to basically attempt financially destroy us by nearly doubling our mortgage. We tried to get a slightly better rate considering WE NEVER MISSED A PAYMENT. Then we tried to do a skip a payment when we are/where allowed they said no..... The Absolut stubbornness and willingness to help any one when their down then proceed to "ground and pound you" financially there after.

Use this as a cautionary tale about how these guys will smile in your face then when you fall for what ever reason instead of lightly assisting they will step on the back of you head(not litterly) and push your face in the mud/ground like a putting out a smoke and not give you an opportunity to catch a little air instead your struggling and gasping........ Terrible way to treat people...........

HI I want to say that I spent 4 years trying to open an account with them and finally they accepted my form of ID and at first I loved innovation but I had a issue recently with my wallet being stolen with my phone and my hole check gone and I reported it to the police got everything requested from the bank and there fraud team are fools and said it was a friendly fraud because I had my pin number which they sent me just the tiny pin number hid so small because 8 can't remember it as 8 have brain damage and they won't give me my ODSP check back because of that so I told the police and they gave me 2 options which where 1 close my account with them because they are going against my drs orders and that is a huge NO NO DON'T CARE WHERE YOU LIVE A DR IS JUST LIKE A JUDGE so if I took option 2 8 can stay with them but the bank would get charged big time with a personal friend getting involved who happens to be Canada's next Prime Minister and because I am a nice guy and don't agree with what would happen to innovation but surely they would not Fair out we well so because I was raised better then people in Saskatchewan I called to close my account and they said they can't because there is a negative in my account which wasn't me cause I have been not able to access my account since December 16 2025 if they can't see that since they put the block on it even dumber then I thought but basically I am closing it and my opinion to everyone is don't waist your time they don't care about their customers and I am the one suffering I told my disability worker why they won't refund my money and she was flabbergasted then say they need to read the law books because what they have said about friendly fraud is a thing they made up as there is no such thing ever in the law as well as banking and my friend knows really well as he used to be a banker at 1 time and do you think innovation said anything when I told them why I am closing my account no thank you nothing ignorant and they should not tell people they are Canadian cause Canadians are not ignorant like that don't use them and tell everyone not to my OPINION ON INNAVATION CREDIT UNION

Worst Credit Union or financial institution ever

The staff is excellent always informative, supporting all clients about their products and services. Finally a credit union that recognizes the indigenous communities. thank you Brenda for the excellent customer services.
