These are legitimately top quality sneaks! Ordered a pair for lifting, and they're also a great driving shoe... That pedal feel on heel-toe is stellar. My only issue is I wish I had gone up a half or full size to get the width right. They definitely give my foot too much of a squeeze and I have the laces as loose as I can reasonably. So, short lift sessions are fine...I'll keep wearing and see if they break in more

The problem is actually the new power return sole or however they call it. The v1 was amazing. Very thknk sole basically giving you a fully connected the ground feeling. Not so with those 🙄 especially during weight lifting the soles are terrible. You loosing the connection to the ground! But for all other activities (or with new soles) pretty amazing

Superb pair of shoes for indoor gym and cardio. Be warned, the toe box is wider than the older version of these shoes, which take some getting used to for high-impact. Always have loved Inov8 and would happily recommend them to anyone.

Lightweight, excellent grip, comfortable and fits like a glove with plenty of toe space. They are stable for heavy lifting on leg day and flexible as well. Comfortable for treadmill use and everyday casual wear as well. I recommend getting 1/2 size bigger than your usual size. They do run a little short. I normally wear size 11 and ordered these in a size 11.5 and they fit perfect. I highly recommend!!

I was very disappointed in the Bare-XF V2s. I loved the original Bare-XF and have owned four pairs over the past 2 years. Even though the V2s are a Wide Fit, they are still very tight around the sides and the heel cup while I had no issues with the originals. After the second wear, I developed some serious ankle pains. I've used them now like five times and now know I can’t use them anymore since it's just too painful to workout in. I've initially purchased the Bare-XF Pros since the website didn't indicate the V2s were Wide Fit. The Bare-XF Pros are a big miss too. I don't what's going on but I'm now weary of buying any more of their products. It's a shame since I LOVED LOVED LOVED the Bare-XF and recommended it to all my gym buddies. Luckily, I was able to return the Pros before I even tried working out in them. For the V2s, I wanted to give them a try, hoping they would wear-in a bit after a couple uses, but that didn't happen. I really hope INOV8 fixes this issue and brings back the original fit. I was really hoping to get a good six months out of the because of the costs. Back to the researching different shoes.

I've been wearing a pair of f-fly shoes for the gym for about 5 years. I wanted to try a more minimalist shoe, so I tried several other brands, not realizing INOV8 has a minimalist option. After being disappointed by 4 or 5 other minimalist shoes (bad fit, poor construction, etc.), I came back to INOV8 thinking I'd just stick with the f-fly. Instead, I found the bare-xf v2 and they're perfect. They're super lightweight but somehow still provide cushion for jump rope, box jumps and similar activities.
