It's a scam text asking about the car then asked me too get a report done but only at inspection yard said his name was Mathew told him doit himself if he wants it done total scumbags no intention of buying car avoid at all costs go under Daniel Paul as well number ends in 262

Scam, “buyer” pretends to want the car and asks for a CP check when you can do the same thing with official websites for much cheaper. Scam number I got was from +44 7465 278262. You can tell it’s a scam from the way they talk as well.

The site offers very expensive car history checks in relation to AA and RAC services and is a scam used by people purporting to be car buyers who demand that the seller gets the report before they will view the car. I suggest you ask them to do it the other way around to prove they are genuine.... texts have used the name Daniel and are relatively clever in how they lull you in to buying the car check.

The same thing happened to me today as to the others, completely wasting my time and insisting on an IY report (inspection yard).
When I asked to speak to 'Daniel' on the phone he said he couldn't as he was working, I expect in a scam call centre. His number is 07446450287

Very similar to others. Called himself Daniel, the red flag was the continual mention of Inpection Yard which thankfully pushed me to check reviews. Absolute SCAM, not interested in buying your car, BEWARE, came from 07465 278262

Scam. Like one of the earlier reviewers, I was contacted by someone called Paul (07465 278214) from Morpeth. He was pushing for the "IY check" (InspectionYard.co.uk). The website looks genuine and offers a report for £32.99. I checked here and glad I did.

Wish I had read these reviews before I too lost £32 with this scam. My dealings were also with an idiot who called himself Paul. He needs to be stopped.

I didn't go on the site because I had already figured this is a scam, I told him to check vehicle score himself and texts stopped coming. My number was taken from gumtree.
I had one yesterday also using a different check but the scam is the same , beware please

I too was contacted by someone wanting to buy my car if I got A IR code from this company. Total scam. Thanks for the reviews, they confirmed my suspicions. My call came from "Jack". Probably Paul's mate no, or he is Paul?

Absolute scam don’t go near same experience as the others promise to come and get the car but need this report no there’s are trusted.

Common scam where they reach out to you on back of you car adverts and then agree to come and pick up the car, once agreed they ask for a report on the car where you need to pay for it before they come and see the car. No other report would work for them, it needs to be this specific one. Stay away.

I was reached out by someone called Paul on the back of a Gumtree ad from 07465278214
