It works well enough if you're patient. Quite often things won't pay out, you're under paid, or surveys will remove you instead of pay out. The worst part is the chat moderators have a god comple... ãã£ãšèŠã
Legitimate site, does pay fast. However it is not one of the highest paying sites out there. Plus some of the members are moderators favorites, in other words they are kiss-ups and can get away with... ãã£ãšèŠã

Love, but mod Cambree ruins it - confirmed over several years
I want to give more stars, I really do - because I've largely enjoyed the site and it's content since it first came out in 2011. Unfortunately, the continuous negative attitude and behavior by one of the mods (Cambree) negates the positives. I don't interact in chat, solely because I have watched as one by one members are banned for breaking unwritten rules, or some perceived slight known only to that mod. I am embarrassed to have recommended this website. My best friend was banned for asking a question to Cambree about point redemption - she watched the tutorial but still had a question, and my sister quit after only a few days after receiving a shockingly rude reply to a support ticket (in a manner that very clearly indicates it was written by Cambree). I will not make that mistake again.
A few weeks ago I had a support ticket in requesting to be unbanned from chat (which I had never used, only discovered I was banned when I tried to ask a question for the first time in however many years I've been on the site), and the initial reply was horrendously rude. Not repeating here as there's no doubt they'd ban me again for posting this, but it was quite clearly from Cambree - and when I checked back a while late the response had been replaced with a much kinder and more professional response. Unfortunately this indicates the other mods are aware, and yet allow the behavior to stand. Thanks for standing up for what is right in the support ticket, but what about those being bullied in chat for asking questions or - dare I say it - chatting? If it's only for asking Mods a question, rename it. If it's just Cambree's kingdom - call it a day because no one is willingly supporting. It's incredibly disappointing to try and unwind and make some small cash on the side, only to be met with someone on a power trip that clearly indicates a sense of fulfillment in their behavior that quite frankly, should not be coming at the expense of those ultimately earning the website money.

It's not even close when it comes to this particular matter! However, they're customer service do need to improve upon helping out their members, when they InstaGC account is not credited by their 3rd party partners. they were a good site till they started holding your points in frozen for whatever reason they want or just refusing to pay out i left the site once told them to delete my account cause they would not give me my 464 points for over two months then came back to see if it was any better earned some points went to frozen waited 15 days got told i do not use the site enough to get the points i earn so go waste time doing survey's that do not pay to get your points is not what i agreed to when i signed up its not a very good site anymore stay away

The surveys I think you can get paid better elsewhere and the customer service is of a very low standard in my opinion. It could of been an attractive platform for survey earnings if the customer service was a lot better and their customer services had decent soft skills.
I have been a member of Trustpilot for quite a while and only ever fed back on two other companies. I felt this could not go unmentioned about instaGC.com
Based on quality of the customer service I felt is was necessary to express my dissatisfaction with the poor level of customer service that I felt was being demonstrated based on my interaction with them.
I hope this can be a learning curve for the company and even a learning curve for myself to try and understand that good quality customer service is never guaranteed. If customer services are of a decent service you can overlook other flaws in the business model being demonstrated.
They have a chat forum which is run by moderators that seem to have limited customer services skills and when challenged they ban or delete your comment. It could of been an excellent website and platform if they understood the ethos that "a customer is always right". Even if you do not agree with it, which you are entitled to disagree with, good customer services create the perception at least. The moderators are quite quite rude in my opinion and one particular moderator has minimal customer service skill from my observation. I raised this offline in the tickets and nothing changed. As a result of poor customer service I requested the closure of my account and to be sent an email confirming my account has been closed, a simple request. To date I have not received an email confirming this and there is resistance to carry out my simple request. A mere 2 sentences in an email would suffice.
You report matters through a customer service portal and despite trying, I never got the name of who I was actually speaking to, their level in the company, how to escalate a complaint further. I believe any company that represents a level of quality or customer service understanding will always provide you with a first name of who you are speaking to and their position in the organisation. I didn't know if I was speaking to the same moderator that I felt was being rude or if it was their line manager or someone more senior. It was just blank.

Trustpilot is not a place to vent just negative views as I understand it. It is a place to voice praise or dissatisfaction with a company. For InstaGC, praise is that the platform is set up to help those with not much money raise a few dollars/pounds in their spare time. Dissatisfaction is the poor customer service skills of the staff AND the lack of willingness to understand just how negative their behaviour can come across as. Dissatisfaction is also that the revenue that can be earned is much less than other similar websites. You could have a survey that takes 10-20 minutes which translates to 1-2 points. 1-2 points is literally a few pennies. Not all surveys are that poor in their payout but together with other surveys having frozen points and late disqualifications, you could find yourself spending hours on the website and earning pennies. If they don't address that then they will lose customers. Online surveys are a great way to obtain customer views but customers want to be rewarded a fair rate. The weekly bonus instaGC offer for watching videos is tiny and the weekly bonus of up to 5% of your surveys is not as rewarding as one would hope based on the primary payout being so low.
My closing thought is that they need to look at their competitors. Others have a greater amount of understanding and respect for the customer in many ways and they listen more. Their payouts are greater too. Other survey sites offer as much as £1 for 5 minutes of your time. This is a greater improvement on the payout of a number of surveys that instaGC offer.
If you don't listen and adapt you will get left behind instaGC.

Ok site... But I Wouldn't Recommend It !!
InstaGC is an ok site, they pay quickly and have instant paypal but I wouldn't recommend it. It's very hard to earn when you're in need or want to make some quick cash. The "freezing points", is okay with me because I understand they want to protect they platform from fraud. But waiting 2 months or longer for points is ridiculous. Especially when I have good offer history with no reversals. I did an 736 point offer on 1/9 and as of 3/16, its still on hold and I'm being told because they haven't got paid yet. Even paid my money for it and could provide proof. But any of my other offers they released with no problems after 14 days. Even offers under 225 points go on hold. I wouldn't recommend it, I had to close my account today with the 736 plus 183 points still frozen. I really think they should give people with good sufficient offer history more slack. There are better sites I use like superpay, prizerebel that are way better with no holds. But good luck everybody who join

Final Update: Everything was resolved, I was able to redeem this site is not a scam at all, although it did initially take a long time for them to respond.
Update: I finally got my ID verified but so far I still canât redeem, I will wait until they respond but so far not bad. Will respond more positively when I am able to redeem my money.
Pre Update: I donât know if this site is a scam or not but I spent 2 months getting 135$ and once I finished I had to create a support ticket, because I couldnât redeem my hard earned money. It has been a week since then and they have still yet to verify my ID. Even though it would usually take 0-2 buisness days.
