Patience from staff with help setting up my account was so refreshing.
They had a lot of availability which was very nice, helped me figure out the issue right away, and helped me resolve it within 10 minutes. They were very informative and patient. Will definitely continue business with them and recommend them!

Our team of practitioners got new Iplum app and we love it. It is allowing us to do calling and secure texting to our patients. Earlier, we were using two different systems for calling and texting and they both had too many issues. With Iplum, it has made our life much simpler. Couple of my patients have called me and they are texting me using free Iplum app on their side. This has worked out well for us.

The service has a delay when you either answer the phone or initiate a call. It is about the length of time of saying two "hello's". I would not rate them one star for this. I would likely have given them 3 stars. But their customer service is beyond bad. They take forever getting back to you, and fail to address the issue when they do, so it's like going around in circles, all the while you are paying for the service. But the real kicker, the really big reason I gave them one star is they want to charge you to port your number out. I have owned this number for 15 years or so. It is not a number they provided. I know of no other service that charges to port a number out even if they gave you the number. But when it's your number and you are not happy with their service, to charge a person to do this is borderline thievery. It is not honest.
The reply below is nonsense. Yes, they replied, but did not deal with the issue. And no, the phone does not work “fine”. Nobody complains about a number that is working "fine" or where the company responded satisfactorily. And you will note they do not address the issue of charging people to get their number Back. These people make me sick with their ridiculous responses.
Second response. No, you did not. That is simply a lie. And yes there is something else behind my complaint and one you have NOT dealt with. The fact that you want to charge me $19.95 to get my number back. Most people would call that stealing. I know I do. No other company charges for porting a number out. I own the number. You do not. Yet you think you can charge me to move it. And $19.95 to boot! That is simply wrong on so many levels. And you would NOT even have devised such a charge if you actually provided good service. No one would want to leave if you did. So here is the thing: You will either move my number without charging something others do not charge, or I will pay you the money - but everyone is going to know of your unethical practices. I will NOT be doing business with you moving forward.
They also give this baloney to BBB. And if you look on the BBB site, you will find others saying the same thing as I say. How BBB gives them an A+ rating is beyond my understanding. This company is extremely unethical. They just say whatever in reply. The truth is - their service never worked well, but I tolerated it for a time. As it got worse, and they would say they rendered help, which did not help, along with the fact that after I put my number there, scammers were spoofing my number, I decided to part the phone number. It was their charge of $19.99 to get my number back that ticked me off. No one charges this. No one. The number does not belong to them. This is kind of like holding something for ransom. It is dishonest and unethical and beyond stupid. Dale Carnegie could have explained it to them, but no one would have listened to him either. When they continued to insist on this fee, I paid it and then asked for it back. When they refused, I then said that actually, the service never worked right (which is the reason I was unhappy) but I was willing to eat it. But in view of their dishonesty, I asked for a refund for the service also. I should have in the beginning, as they do not deliver what they promise. Beware of this company.
Added: Their”reply” below is balderdash. They did not do anything that anyone would consider trying to solve the issue. They use a lot of buzzwords, but no real action. My review is based solely on the facts as stated by me.

I needed to try to recapture numbers that my associates had allowed to lapse. While I was initially frustrated by having to communicate with iPlum exclusively through email as opposed to a live phone call, I gotta say that they're tremendously responsive, and they know what they're doing. I'd far rather email with great support than talk live with support that's not great. Although ultimately the numbers were gone forever, iPlum was totally efficient, and refunded all the (very small) fees I paid for them to try. Top marks for iPlum support!
iPlum engages in fraud when it comes to billing. Their texting services don't work. Their support is HORRIBLE.

I have had no luck getting any resolution with issues online. However once my issue got moved to a senior technician, they were able to talk me through every step and resolve my issue. This includes putting in a ticket and obtaining a refund. Much appreciated.
When I had problems with the porting a number I was able to contact someone for assistance and got a response that was helpful. One of the services I left pushed me away with the lack of support or documentation. I really appreciate the customer service I received from iPlum.

When a client calls or texts, client XX is calling or has sent a text flashes on my phone I contacted support with an email and was told that they are not HIIPA consultants. HIIPA is only meant to protect the DX, SSN, drivers license numbers, etc. Currently anyone in the vicinity of my phone can see who the message is from, a violation. I would like to know how to fix this rather than get a condescending email.

I ported over two numbers and needed a little support to do so. Customer service responded to my questions in record time and they were very helpful and courteous. I'm so glad I switched!
We purchased a number for our company & received an email stating the number was provisioned and ready for use. We paid for advertising using this number & it does NOT WORK. We cannot change the advertising because it has already gone to print & has been printed. We have wasted a total $712.00 because of this. No professional response or fix. They close at 6pm. Very convenient with the weekend here.

I wanted to love iplum, but I just can't. I do like them better over Google Voice in how calls are handled but in features, Google Voice has then beaten hands down. It would be nice if iplum would enter the year 2021 for their features. They lack the option to import contacts, they lack the option to select multiple contacts to move from Device to Business. They lack the option to be able to text from your iplum account when logged in on your computer. Their customer service is not great. There is no number to call you can only email them, then when you do you don't get questions answered or you only get a part of what you asked. We're stuck with them from now for a year. Hopefully, they get to programing and fix their lackluster options.
