Great care. Very professional Team.
Dr Isa Kaman ensured me with the blue water test, that there was no way my stomach could leak.
I had my gastric sleeve operation there.
I am Polish by birth, but I have chosen the Turkish bariatric surgeon, because they are leading in this field.
I did my research right 5* out of 5*

So far I currently weigh 148 pounds which feel amazing, I’ve had no side effects whatsoever and feel great, thank you for all your help and support

My Experience with Irmet Hospital

I initially planned to have plastic surgery in Turkey with Irmet Hospital and even paid a deposit. Romeo, the person I spoke with, was very attentive and reassuring at the beginning. They added me to a WhatsApp group chat, where most of the feedback looked very positive — but in reality, only a small number of people were consistently posting good reviews about the hospital and surgeons.

Later, I was warned by other clinics that Irmet removes unhappy clients from the group chat to keep things looking positive. Unfortunately, this turned out to be true.
When I decided to go with another clinic that felt more honest and not ripping off customers just because they coming from abroad and can afford to pay for surgery, I shared my decision with one of the woman from the Irmet group. Immediately after, I was removed from the group.

That confirmed the warnings I had received. The experience showed me that while everything seems fine when you’re paying deposits and fees, the attitude changes quickly if you raise concerns or look elsewhere. They treat yoy like an enemy.
Romeo even went so far as to tell me I had “committed a crime” simply because I mentioned to one woman there were better options. I found this response extremely unprofessional and disappointing.

I want to share my story so others can make an informed decision. Please research carefully before committing — especially when it comes to deposits and promises that may not be honoured.
You wont get any deposits, they wouldn't care less if you are happy or not.
If the admin staff cant handle honest feedback in transparency just because they won't get commission now, how can you truly trust them with your health?
Would not recommend Irmet for the reason I've experienced after I decided to go elsewhere. The attitude of admin is stinks like a fish.

I write this review a year post op. I have very mixed reviews regarding my results. I had an extended tummy tuck and breast implants. One of my implants haven’t dropped and I still have a slight overhang on my tummy, this is regardless of the exercise and weight loss I have achieved since surgery (I’m 7lbs lower than when I had my surgery and exercise daily.

The care from the nurses is second to none, they couldn’t have done more. They are the heart of Irmet and have a really hard job.

I was given a blood thinner following my op, this resulted in me being very sick and losing consciousness. It was then discovered I had an internal bleed and required further surgery. I wasn’t given any reason as to why this happened. Prior to being rushed back down, I was required to sign more forms. I could hardly stay awake let alone hold the pen. My poor friend had to sign these on my behalf whilst worrying, I even asked a nurse if I was dying and her response was yes. This could have been lost in translation but was terrifying non the less. I continued to lose consciousness but came round as they were strapping me to the metal table in surgery.

After this I required 5 blood transfusions. I cannot fault the care that I received from the nurses following this.

I was given garments that didn’t fit and had other peoples hair attached to the velcro.

I have tried to contact my co ordinator following my operation, and the aftercare and communication is horrific, clearly they’ve already had my money so no need to respond in a timely manner or respond at all. I last messaged on the 26/6 and haven’t heard back. That or they’ve dragged our response time so any revision needed will not be in the required time frame.

I’ve given two stars purely for the nurses and cleaning staff.

Please be mindful of the positive reviews, they pressure you to leave a google review before leaving the hospital and stand over you as you do it. Please also note that they remove people from their WhatsApp group for being honest. The same with the Facebook group.

I don’t recommend. The surgery went well but I didn’t receive the post op follow up that was part of the package. I never obtained an answer to my blood test results that I sent, despite uploading the results to the link provided by the hospital. The contact person has stopped answering to my messages when I asked about my results and pointed out that I’m not receiving proper post op care.

Update: I was contacted the day I left this note after being ignored for a month and half (with 4 unanswered messages)…Which confirms I was just being ignored purposefully. Very unfortunate.

I had a lovely experience with all the nurses they was amazing the only thing I was upset with is benji I understand it’s a money making business but he took advantage of me needing to get home and didn’t give a crap although we went home three days early he charged me to go to a different airport 15 pound less then the taxi would off out on the street I was so upset and heart broken they saved loads on my stay but because I needed to get home and he new I had already paid just over 250 to get home he took full advantage I wish I would of gotten a taxi now to help the normal man out there not the greedy benji hisself so much more to it that I can’t write as not enough typo but apart from benji was brilliant

Irmet definitely worthy of 5 stars, the service and treatment second to none my co ordinator Alina, nurses and translators couldn’t do enough for you well looked after. Dr Kurt did an amazing job with my surgery couldn’t have picked a better hospital. Thank you to all the staff at Irmet

I have had surgery at this hospital twice. Amazing care, fabulous team, i cannot fault the standard of treatment i recieved. Far superior to the UK. This is not one of those pop up type hospitals you hear about. This is a genuine hospital, with no half stays in hotels. I highly recommend them, inwouldnt have come back a second time if i didnt rate their care.

I returned to İrmet after having my gastric bypass in 2019. Now 120lbs (55KG) lighter I went for a 360TT , breast uplift and implants.
The quality of care from start to end is outstanding from everyone. As you stay as an inpatient rather than being shipped to a hotel you receive 24/7 nurse care, daily surgeon post op checks and every thing you need to get your recovery off to a great start.
The surgical results are amazing, and honestly the sutures/stitch work are a work of art (I had Dr Ali Bal, whom I highly recommend)
The place is impeccably clean and the staff cannot do enough to help you.
This is a full hospital with every major department and pre op checks are so rigorous, for me this included chest X-ray full bloods, ultrasound and breathing test with no stone unturned. I did have a minor complication which was handled smoothly and efficiently. If I’d had surgery in the UK, I would have been on my own,
Will be returning in 2026 for an arm lift!

I was so scared to have my procedure and a lot of anxiety before my procedure but I had the best experience and everything went well! It’s the best thing I had ever had done.

I have made my surgeries in Jan'25 and the beautiful staff, the service, the friendly atmosphere, the kindness that I was shown was incredible. I will be going again in February 2026, hopefully, to make some more surgeries. Thank you so much Irmet and Dr Ali plus all the staff. Super

The most awful treatment I have ever had in my life. The care from the hospital was horrendous. On my return to the uk following my procedure I was admitted into hospital with kidney failure and was told had I not made my way to hospital I would have died.
Would not recommend stay away at all costs

I have had surgery twice at Irmet and wouldn’t hesitate to go back again (which I am hoping to do later in the year) for more plastic surgery, the staff are absolutely amazing , the care is unlike any I’ve ever received, all the nurses , doctors , surgeons , catering staff, cleaners , porters, and of course the fab coordination team are all the most amazing people I’ve ever had the pleasure to deal with I’d highly recommend Irmet .

The staff were wonderful, the doctors were always there to speak to. My every need was catered for and it was a delightful stay. I would definitely go again if I needed to.

Irmet Hospital offers excellent and highly professional services. The staff is extremely helpful, and the coordinators play a crucial role in promoting the hospital’s services and ensuring successful conversions. They are doing a commendable job.

I would recommend implementing a referral scheme to acknowledge and reward those who are actively referring others to Irmet. Rather than offering future procedure discounts—which may not be relevant to everyone—it would be more effective to provide a commission based on the number of referrals. This could be reviewed and paid annually, reflecting the total number of successful referrals within that period.

Such an approach could significantly boost your international reach, supported by genuine recommendations from satisfied patients.

I’ve been many times to the irmet hospital the treatment and service you receive is second to none every one makes you so welcome from the cleaners to the surgeons wouldn’t go anywhere else

The whole experience was superb ,I was given good pain relief and looked after better than any hospital in the UK your room is cleaned several times a day and all the staff are beyond perfect and I am very happy with my results and am going back in a few weeks for another procedure
