Confused messages in
Emailed company to verify some measurements, very quick reply confirming I was ordering the right mechanism. Only worry was that once ordered I was emailed to say it wouldnât be available from supplier for 6-8 weeks.
I replied explaining how disappointed/ frustrated I was - only to receive another email saying I would receive the item the following day. This did happen, well done Ironmongery Plus.

Apologies for not having your particular item in stock. We work with some 30+ suppliers. Some provide live interfaces to their available stock, but some do not. This makes it impossible for us to provide a consistent "live" view on stock on our website, so we rely on regular batch updates.
We check every order as soon as we receive it to check the stock, and to look for alternative suppliers if it is unavailable.
If we cannot source the item from our own stock or any of our supplier contacts we make the customer aware of the situation, and offer a full refund. This is what happened with your particular order.
