Cameron and Charlotte were so very helpful. Cameron’s sparkling personality and Charlotte's keen eye for color made my experience phenomenal.

We did the workshop experience at the Marshall Street location with Fiona, Anna and Jane and had such a great time!
Fiona was our main instructor for the day. Our group had people doing various kinds of satchels, backpacks and washbags all at once, meaning the steps differed slightly from bag to bag and Fiona went out of her way to explain the steps and help each person individually.
I originally signed up to make a washbag, but this location only had a rather limited selection of the washbag leather parts and Harris Tweed, so I was kindly offered a discount on any upgrade I would like to make, which I did take them up on.
At this location, there’s a lovely café inside. Anna, Fiona and Jane did offer dairy-free drink options (I chose a Chai Latte with oat milk).

Friendly and fun workshop at The Arches
I want to the workshop at The Arches. Michelle did the workshop, with Lauren, they where really friendly, fun and extremely knowledgeable. It was a lovely relaxed experience. Really happy with my bag, and accessories i took away too

Great bag making workshop
Had a lovely time making a bag with Chris and Isaac. Chris was funny, engaging and very informative. Would recommend this to anyone (who wants to make a bag. Probs not if you don't, like)

We went to the Islander bag making experience at Cannongate, Edinburgh and had a great time courtesy of Beatrice, Analiz & Dawn. Hosts were excellent!
Plenty of choice, colours and bag options to choose from. I would recommend this experience whole heartedly!

Had an amazing time at the Islander Bag Workshop! 🎒✨
A big thank you to the fantastic hosts Chris and Isaac for making the experience so enjoyable and welcoming. They guided us through every step with patience, great tips, and plenty of encouragement.
It was such a fun, hands-on session and so satisfying to walk away with a bag I made myself! The atmosphere was relaxed, creative, and perfect for trying something new.
Highly recommend the Islander Bag Workshop to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience. Thanks again, Chris and Isaac!

My mother and I attended the workshop today at the Marshall Street store. Fiona and the girls in the cafe were just amazing , so knowledgeable and welcoming. Will definitely be back to build another bag

An amazing workshop
My daughter and I had a lovely afternoon at the workshop on Marshall street today. My daughter is only 12, but she loved it. It was a lovely activity to do together. Our host, Caitlin, was amazing. She was very friendly, informative and really supportive helping my daughter with more tricky parts of the bag making. Highly recommend the activity. We really hope to visit again on another trip to Scotland.
