Istidam were wonderful and I will use again. They were prompt in responding and able to appreciate the urgency of the situation, so they attended an appointment the following day. Were on time and the report was also ontime and very thorough.
There was a transparent process the whole way through, where pricing was explained and that was kept to, I was given time to read the report and ask questions if I had any before payment. A very ethical company to do business with.

Helpful and polite young man, language barrier was a bit if a problem. Spoke english but words were missing in sentences or pronounced incorrectly.
The reason he came was done with no hassle and he explained everything to me.

So after being the victim of a rogue builder and having to navigate issues raised by building control I chose to instruct my own structural engineer to guide me through the process of rectifying the mess I was left.

I was visited by Dr Mohamed Esaker on two occasions he was reliable, hugely knowledgeable and set me at ease from the outset that he could guide me through the mess I had been left and put me on the right path to rectify the structural problems I was faced with.

I now have clear instructions and all the calculations necessary so I can instruct a new builder to resolve everything in order to satisfy building control.

I needed an assessment on a crack in a property I was considering buying. The engineer Rabee Shamass was on time and very knowledgeable and professional and courteous. I was very impressed with how he survey the property and diagnosed the problem. If you’re looking for an engineer who knows what they’re talking about stop looking you have found one what a great company I will certainly be using them in the future if I need a survey or engineering problem solved

Along with the peculiarities of Victorian engineering and foundation work to consider were the redistributed loads following a late-20th century conversion from large three-storey single-family home into 3 separate flats. Thorough reports and analysis at a very fair price. Great, reliable service, keep those buildings standing up.

I was in the inevitable position of having to source a structural engineer to take a look at my 9 year old roof which had installation faults. Tarek was an easy person to get along with and travelled close to 2 hrs for the inspection. From the very first meeting it was clear he took great pride in his company and work ethic. The inspection and subsequent report were delivered in a timely manner for the insurance company and the recommended work was approved. Tarek has since taken care of the tender process and approved the contractors. The work that starts soon will be managed by him. Thank you Tarek for professionalism.

From the beginning, the service was professional, clear and very well organised. I contacted them for structural advice relating to a property I had recently purchased, where I needed to understand the implications of making changes to part of the existing structure.

What made the experience particularly good was the level of explanation and practical guidance provided. The structural issues were described in a clear and understandable way, together with the possible options available and the steps that would be required to carry out the work safely and correctly.
