Am fost la iStyle Premium Partner de Apple cu dispozitivul meu defect, un 15 Pro vechi de 2–3 ani, care s-a oprit brusc în timpul unui apel telefonic și nu a mai pornit. L-am predat pentru reparație.

Apoi am primit un deviz de cost — nu pentru reparație, ci pentru un aparat nou, care era mai scump decât un 15 Pro nou; prețul era cu aproximativ 1000 € mai mare decât unul nou.

După ce am refuzat această ofertă, mi-au perceput încă 149 € pentru dispozitivul vechi doar pentru că l-au ținut o dată în mână; nu a fost deschis și nici măcar verificat.

Ca antreprenor și comerciant, pot doar să-i sfătuiesc pe toți să fie deosebit de atenți cu această companie iStyle, deoarece se pare că aici clienții sunt adesea dezavantajați.

Horrible policies for replacement of dead-on-arrival laptop

I purchased a MacBook Air from the iStyle store in Iasi on behalf of my company, and the product was dead on arrival (would not turn on, would not charge). I returned to the store exactly one hour later, where the staff confirmed that it would not power on, but instead of replacing it on the spot (even though they had identical units in stock), they sent it to the service center in Bucharest. I was left without a laptop for almost five days, even though the device had been defective from the moment it was handed over.

I mentioned that this was not the first laptop purchased for the same company and that I urgently needed it for a business trip by Thursday. The product was brought back on Monday evening immediately after purchase, and I simply asked for an identical replacement unit. I was told this was not possible because it had to be sent to Bucharest to check for “mechanical damage.” I find it absurd that an authorized store (notably an Apple premium reseller) cannot perform a basic on-the-spot check: verify the physical integrity of the device (no marks, no dents) and the obvious fact that it does not power on. Such a basic diagnosis should not require several days and unnecessary shipment - and in the absence of this capability, it would be reasonable to assume good faith from a returning customer.

Moreover, being in the situation where a newly purchased laptop had been sent straight to servicing, I asked for the diagnosis to be expedited given how trivial it was (checking that it does not turn on) - the Iasi-Bucharest transit plus the check could have been completed within a single business day - yet I was called to pick up another laptop only on the fourth day (handed in Monday evening, called Friday at noon). By then, I had already left the country for the meeting where I would have needed the laptop.

When I went to pick up the new laptop, there was absolutely no acknowledgment of the inconvenience caused; not even the slightest “we’re sorry for the situation.”

I understand they have no legal obligation to replace products immediately for corporate customers, but the way they handle DOA cases is completely inflexible. And when, just 10 meters away, there is an Altex store far more friendly toward business customers and which, in my personal experience, replaces DOA products on the spot without unnecessary discussions, the experience here was even more disappointing.

I cannot recommend this store under any circumstances for business purchases. Slow process, rigid procedures, no accountability, and zero consideration for the customer’s time. A chain of employees and managers entirely uninterested in the experience of a customer in a self-proclaimed premium store. Avoid at all costs.

Why do you want black?

The worst experience I've had in recent times in stores in Bucharest. On my first visit, I thought that the employees were agitated and totally unprofessional because it was crowded. But, surprise. On the second visit, there were only two customers, a girl and me. I've rarely encountered such an approach from the sales team. The team in Băneasa is the weakest of the stores in Bucharest. "Have you had a MAC laptop before? Don't think it's too powerful. I had a reservation - I don't think we have it anymore... I sold the black one today.. But why do you want black... gray is nicer... and many other completely off-topic sentences. Surely some people from this team should be sent to sales courses and more. Premium Reseller from my point of view means something completely different.

Very poor experience with iStyle Romania

I do not recommend doing business with iStyle. The reasons are:
- Lying about what's on the website.
- Very poor communication (if any) after placing an order.
- Customer support is almost non-existent.

I ordered a Mac (which had the status: available) on their website, and after a week I received no details other than "order confirmed".

After many attempts to get in touch with their customer support team, they said it's actually a customized option which should take between 4 to 8 weeks to arrive. This is not what was mentioned when placing the order.

Afterwards they ignore sending the bill over (which is mandatory for B2B transactions), so I can't actually add it to my company's accounting.

Very poor, unprofessional and feels scammy... I actually did a triple check to be sure this was the real company I sent money to, and that I haven't been scammed, and I'm still not sure about the last part.

I wonder why doesn't Apple replace them with Apple stores...

‹Efectiv nu îmi vine sǎ cred ca o companie reprezentant Apple are un site execrabil pe partea de comenzi.

Detalii:‹- am făcut comanda pe firma, nu tu factura, detalii minime ale comenzii‹- produsul a fost livrat de ceva timp, iar pe site îmi spune ca este in livrare‹- site-ul de suport este execrabil, completezi un formular, nu îți dau număr de ordine sau ceva. Nimic. ‹Dai click (in Safari, ei fiind reprezentanți apple) si nimic, îți apare același formular, nici o confirmare nimic.‹- nu exista număr de telefon pentru comenzi online, nici măcar cu un robot amărât ca la e-Mag‹- e genul de firma unde toți se ascund si nimeni nu nu vrea sa se bage in fata când sunt probleme (cum era Allview)‹‹Drept concluzie: sunt cei mai mari țepari cu produse Apple din România. Punct. ‹O sǎ duc mesajul meu cât de departe se poate și o sa îl fac cât se poate de viral.

They are just destroying Apple brand! They offered me aprox 14 EUR trade-in value for a iPhone 14 Max 1 T perfectly functional. In Apple store in Dubai I got 450 USD trade-in for same iPhone! Even on their website the evaluator suggested minimum 400 EUR for this iPhone, but in the Baneasa store they claim their website offer is not valid anymore and they offered 14 EUR! This is robbery as a such iPhone sells for a few hundreds of EUR as second hand on OLX! This Apple reseller just destroy Apple brand!

No return and no exchange policy - a nightmare

I bought an Iphone 16e and just after a few hours of usage, it quickly overheated. I returned to the shop and asked for maintenance. They explained me that first they had to run some checks and then could return it to me the day after. If the issue persisted, they told me that they would “change the phone”.
On the next day, I received the phone back and, after just a few hours of usage, it overheated again.
So for the fourth time (!) i went to the shop where, after they ran some quick checks, they told me that the phone ran perfectly fine. So now I am writing this review with a brand-new overheating phone of 800 Eur that I could not return or exchange.
Just don’t buy anything in their shops and stay away from them.

Utterly useles

The most useless and worst organized company I ever had the misfortune to deal with. Place an order online, can’t cancel it, no way of contacting them, their retail locations just shrug off any request, zero communication. I had my first interaction with them 12 years ago, nothing changed since. If anything it’s just worse. Honestly try to find any other retailer, you’ll be better off.

Unacceptable Customer Service - 30 Minutes Wasted, no answer!!!
I’m beyond frustrated with your company’s complete lack of customer support. I’ve been waiting 30 minutes just to get a basic answer about my order status - no one answered.

Here are the facts:
• I placed a full-payment order for a watch ONE WEEK AGO (not a preorder)
• My order still shows “Confirmed” with zero explanation why the status is still Confirmed after one week.
• I’ve sent multiple emails with no response whatsoever
• I’m now wasting my time waiting on hold because your company can’t be bothered to reply.

Dupa ce am cumparat de peste 10.000€ in ultimii ani, la ultima achizitie am primit un mouse defect. (A costat 500 lei, deci nimic pe langa alte lucruri cumparate de la ei) mi refuza orice retur/inlocuire. Chiar inlocuire am cerut, nici macar retur.

Desi am zeci de achizitii, asta a fost prima data cand am avut nevoie de ajutor. Imi pare rau ca nu m-am prins mai din timp ce fel de oameni sunt.

Cand mergeam sa cumpar in magazin ultimele macbookuri si displayuri eram tratat ca un rege. Patetic.

O firma jenanta, cu 0 suport pentru clienti. Foarte dezamagit de mine ca am ales sa fiu clientul lor in trecut.

iRecommend to avoid iStyle

Some staff needs more trainings. There is a person in Cluj Vivo office that thinks of himself as the center of the Earth, I'll not give names, but you'll notice him if you talk with.
The Bucharest team is severely understaffed - because they don't respond to emails in a timely manner, and it took more than 20 days to fix a broken screen.

I totally DO NOT recommend their fixing service, but hey "ApPLe cERtiFiEd".

The reason for two starts is
1. because there finally was a person who helped me with my issues
2. because they have OK prices.

Sincer

Sincer, nu stiu cum sunt autorizati de Apple...sunt asa neprofesionisti si parca incepatori sau ce. Am trimis un Iphone 15 pro cu Apple Care in service, si ei mi-au spus ca trebuie sa platesc 1200 lei reparatie. Asa ceva...acum trebuie sa le scriu la cei de la Apple sa rezolve ei direct problema, pentru ca ce fac ei e absurd (acum ceva vreme am mai avut problema asta si atunci mi-au schimbat telefonul pe gratis, tot pe baza Apple Care, deci acum nu stiu care e problema lor). Oricum, nu recomand deloc nici magazinul, dar service-ul nici atat! Numai daca vreti dureri de cap cu ei si garantiile lor cumva ;) Neprofesionisti total!
