Don't use this company!!!

We have had a couple of issues to do with leaks with our Loft Conversion now and, in all honesty, my Family would have been lost without this Warranty Protection. Like you only find out how good your Car Insurance company is when you make a claim, we were expecting lots of runaround & hassle in getting the claims honoured or, something in the small print that "excluded" us from claiming like car warranties. Not only has that NOT happened but, as a whole company IWA &, in particular Louise & Chris, have actually been nothing but a pleasure to work with &, I would recommend IWA to you unreservedly.

Following finding a leak on my garage roof I was sceptical that on finding the roofing contractor who completed roofing work on our garage had gone out of business that I would have any recourse to get it fixed under warranty. Roof leak fixed
We had a leak in our roof, the source of which was hard to identify. The IWA engineer came 3 times. Finally, managing to trace the source and to fix the leak. He was very thorough.

Conservatory door sticking badly so it wouldnât close (or lock). This was exactly the same situation as two years ago. Louise Stevens was extremely efficient and arranged for an engineer to be booked . Unfortunately this was scheduled for over a month away but luckily she found a cancellation within two weeks,
Engineer was highly professional and completed the job as requested. My only concern is that I had to pay a standard fee before the job was even booked, which to me seemed rather unreasonable, especially considering the considerable time delay between booking and completion.

Thorough and efficient
IWA are a very good company to deal with. Louise at the office dealt with my enquiry promptly and efficiently. The engineer who called to check out the problem was very thorough and explained in detail what he found and done. The only reason that I have not given 5 stars is because no specific cause could be found for the leak in my conservatory roof. Some remedial work was carried out , but only time and wet weather will show whether it has been successful.

The repair man
The repair man, Chris, was friendly, professional and took every opportunity to ensure that we were happy with his work. Owing to the fact that we had to make a second repair claim for our (under warranty but the company went into receivership) windows and doors within a few weeks of an earlier claim it meant paying out the excess of £100 again :-(. Louise and the team were friendly and helpful and on my second claim I requested that Chris give all of our windows and doors a check over when he repaired the front door locking mechanism which had snapped internally. and that he investigated and adjusted another door that was giving us trouble with locking and unlocking. This he did and he left us satisfied that he had been unable to detect any other issues that may need rectifying in the near future. My only gripe is the delay between submitting a claim and receiving acknowledgement of such and then the fairly prolonged wait before Chris was able to attend. I do understand that Chris is the only windows/doors repair man on the team and so is obviously very busy but I did explain from the off that the front door security was a worry to us as the door catches/locks did not engage and so the door was only secured from the door handle down but it didn't seem to make any impact. However, the door is now secure and we are pleased that there appear to be no immediate issues with any door or windows. Overall we are very happy with the service we received from IWA and, in the nicest possible way, hope we won't have to call on their expertise again (fingers crossed).
