Mi experiencia con ellos fue mui mala ...2 dias antes del pago tenia que pagar 300 con el seguro del carro..en total eran 435 por que tenia que pagar la placa.i solo tenía los 300..i no me aceptaron el pago i ahora quieren el carro para atras..i le esplique que se los daría la próxima semana i me trataron como porqueria.les pague 3000 dolares de un préstamo mas 1000 de pago inicial..i cada 2semanas tengo que pagar..358..que en total al mes son 716 por un carro 2013..los que resiven el pago te gritan i te tratan como basura esta gente son lo peor de lo peor..de verdad voy a ir asta lo último para que esta gente de byraider nadie valla ....gente este cito les roban el dinero

My experience with Byrider has been extremely disappointing. When I reached out for help due to an unexpected situation, they offered no grace period and no flexibility whatsoever. I called ahead to make a payment arrangement and simply asked to move my payment two weeks out. Instead of working with me, I was told my vehicle could be repossessed and that my only option was to “find someone to loan me the money.”

Life happens — people get sick, emergencies come up — but Byrider has no compassion or support for real, human circumstances. Any time I mention that I purchased a car through Byrider, the reactions I get say it all: “Oh… wow… you really went there.” I gave them the benefit of the doubt, and the first time I ever needed even a small extension (just 15 days), I was shut down completely.

This is not professional, nor does it reflect a company that values its customers. The margin for error is razor-thin, and the moment you need understanding, they make sure you feel it.

I do not recommend Byrider. There are better dealerships with better ethics and far better customer support.

I'm giving this company a one star, because I can't go any lower. I purchased a 2016 Dodge grand caravan from these people in 2023. Since then, it's had two motor replacements, two Cadillac converters replaced, and oxygen sensors. It still doesn't run right. In fact, as I write this review, it's in the shop being worked on. Do not do business with this company. You will regret it if you do. They sell automobiles that are garbage. They lure you in with their two year warranty, but after that warranty expires, you will still be having issues. The final straw was when they claimed my insurance had expired and started charging me 108.00 a month for insurance they claimed they had to put on the automobile. I refinanced through my bank. These people are impossible to deal with. I will say it again, DO NOT DO BUISNESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

So apparently with me being on time most of the time, and if I’m late, there’s a problem. These people don’t understand that life happens unfortunately mine has been a day or two late and if it’s not on time the day that they want to take it out of your bank account oh my God, the world‘s gonna end. Then I’m getting threatened that I need to bring in my paystub’s and my bills to prove that I have other bills, which makes no absolute sense. If you live in a damn apartment or a house, you’re gonna have an electric bill you’re gonna have food you’re gonna have to have other expenses other than that stupid car that I bought. I would not will not ever buy another car from byrider. I do not want to be harassed because I’m a day late a day late one day late. It would be different if I was two weeks late but one day y’all need to freaking stop with the bullshit.

I have never dealt with no bull crap like this. Yea they may give you a car with a small down payment but you best believe you get what you pay for. Done had my vehicle in the shop a couple times in the first couple weeks of purchase . Not to mention the first car I was in had to be taken back the first few days . Done learnt my lesson. Will not ever purchase from this place again. My daughter in law experienced the same thing . Had problems has soon as she took her car off the lot. And then if you one day late they repo your car and you can not get it back without making a down-payment again and starting over. The worse people to get a car from. Beware. And would not have given a 1 rating but I needed to write the review.

I have requested for this company to be black listed on JBSA. All military and personnel members and families should not go through the trouble I have. Worst company ever!! Not only the people here are rude and disrespectful but I’ve only had my car for a year. 6 months after having the car it started overheating and it is still overheating. The service people does nothing but make things worst and you have to pay out of pocket diagnostics and service fees for things they screwed up. Run from this company and don’t waste your time!!

This place is awful ! This was the worse experience I have ever had in my life. Leeann in Parkersburg Wv sold me a car two days later I was on the highway broke down and she acted like they was gonna fix my car but to find out they truly wasn’t they told me it was normal for brakes to smoke !!! Absolutely Not ever in life have I ever heard that. So they want me to drive something that could potentially kill me because they only care about money. They are the worse company in the world and deserve to drive these death traps they sell people.

Would give zero if I could. Previously got a car from them. Made my payments for 2 years then paid it off. Went to get another car and because I just went to get another car and because I just switched jobs wad denied. They know I make my payments and keep a job.

Horrible people I have been with jdbyrider for 18 months the car I got from them went down within the first 3 months. After they replaced the engine it went down every month after that. I was taking it up there every other month for them to fix and they wasn’t properly fixing my car. Over charging me for the service. Very rude customer service. Wrongfully put a repo on my credit when I still have the car. This place is horrible and now the engine is down because the refused to fix what I asked them to fix. Too much please do not go to these people. They are horrible to work with.

Terrible people. I missed ONE payment after 1 year straight on time payments repoed the car and as a domino affect lost my job my house became homeless and lost my kids. For ONE missed payment. They have pretend debt collectors who dont follow federal regulations for debt collecting. I wish i could post screen shots because this guy spencer called me an idiot when i asked about missing a payment to feed my kids AND this prick named kirk told me exactly WHERE MY KIDS WENT TO SCHOOL. Not only is byryder immoral but they theaten your family. Call me a lier I HAVE PROOF FuQ byryder i will get my revenge in this life or the next

Wish i would’ve looked here before going through them, they WAY oversold me on a lemon, and everytime I called the service department I got the same story “we’re booked out over 6 months, call again in a few months” so I’d do it and constantly got the same story. Now my car is broke down and is going to take a lot of money to fix to where I can even drive it. Please go literally anywhere else.

Byrider in Raleigh NC is a very unprofessional company. I took my best friend there to get a vehicle. She had to talk to finance Manager which was very rude to her when telling her about her credit report. He told her things about her credit Report in a negative ugly way and I did say something cause it was rude. He did not want to serve us and acted like a racist white man. After I corrected him, he slammed his computer and said we had a attitude and he will not be able to do nothing for her, because we had a attitude and her credit was not to his satisfaction. I was told from a sales person this is a buy here pay here and it should not matter what's on your credit. The Credit Manager is not suitable for helping people to start over like they say. I will advice no one to visit the Byrider on new Bern Ave. Raleigh NC. First and Last time to this trouble place.

I'm having issues with the car I bought just 6 weeks ago from the Petoskey, MI dealership. Coolant/antifreeze...my car overheated. So I had to have it towed to my local garage to have it looked at. They found nothing. By that weekend, my car had been parked for 4 days....when I went to leave the reservoir was dry and a puddle of antifreeze on driveway. Took my car to the actual Byrider mechanic and all they did was let it run for half an hour and found no issues. On my way to pick my car up for the 2nd time in a week. Stay tuned....there is something wrong with my car....if it did it before and wasn't taken care of, it will do it again. Karen ain't got nothing on me if people don't do the right thing.

I'm only giving it a one because zero is not an option. If you're planning on getting a car here please bring your own lube. Not only did I get screwed on my contract, my engine blew about 2 months ago. So I took it in to get fixed since it was still under warranty. Even though it was leaking oil and antifreeze, which are Key signs that the motor or head is cracked, they had to fix the oil leak first to make sure that that was the issue. So even though it was under warranty I still paid $800. I had to get a rental vehicle which they told me they would cover once my vehicle is diagnosed until the vehicle was fixed. I spent over $1,200 on a rental for 2 weeks. My reimbursement check was $283. Oh we don't cover weekends or holidays and it's $29.95 a day. This place is absolutely effin ridiculous and I highly highly highly recommend you never step foot here just think of it as hell. You don't want to be there do you? And I don't. I had to review somewhere else talking about Jeff the gentleman who conned me into my car. Oh also let me say I went in on a Friday to get a vehicle I was delayed until Monday I had to go in Friday Saturday and Monday to finally get my paperwork done. Why? So you can find all the loopholes to f me in the ass some more? Please please please read this review and let me tell you from experience you are wasting your time. My vehicle is listed at $9,999. If I make my minimum payments and just do the minimum on my contracts by 2027 I will have paid my vehicle off at the expense of $22,000. I don't have great credit but it's pretty good so there's my story about my experience with JD Byrider and how I'm effin stuck in their spider web now. I can't trade my car in and I can't fight them over my money although I will try. Thank you for listening please go somewhere else

Had a problem with my Oil System. Didn't think the mechanics at Byrider could handle because it was a VW. Took the car to the VW Dealer and they had me thinking I had metal in my oil. Replacement engine between 7100 and 10 thousand dollars. I actually gave the car back to Byrider. Mechanics there says let me take a look at it again. They had it for a week, but the car is running just fine. I am so happy for the final result. They are honest. For the record, this is the 3rd car I have purchased in 15 years, and I have been lucky with every vehicle. I would recommend this location. They are fair.
