No more or less than what you'd expect from jd. Hair gotta be done nice...makeup
on, and girls walking around with their tits out never seen a gym with so many youngsters on steroids some don't even think the tablets they got online are steroids they're that fresh. More of a youth club than a gym but some ok gear in there if you don't mind waiting.

Great gym, however still no air con in the gym since opening which makes it nearly unbearable in summertime and leaves you feeling physically ill whilst training.

I have been attending this gym for a few months and I cannot fault it !
The equipment it first class, the classes are fantastic. The staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is a problem.
I would recommend JD Blackpool to anyone .

Joined JD recently for the fabulous price of £5 for first month and then £19.99 per month thereafter and must say I am very pleased. After an initial problem getting in and out with the app and a few too many members probably due to initial influx it has now settled nicely. Equipment is good and plentiful, staff are very pleasant and facilities are clean and tidy with plenty of blue roll and disinfectant sprays on hand. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is because it is simply too hot in there. I am surein autumn/winter it will be great but through the hot weather it is very uncomfortable. Maybe this can be sorted?

Kind friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable PTs and great classes. Really enjoy the 6am workouts every morning.

A brilliant gym the staff n equipment are amazing hoping there will be boxing classes soon

Blackpool Gym needs air conditioning however is a very good facility for the price!

Clean, friendly, Organised.
can’t ask for a nicer team the PTs are always on floor or in site so if we need help I can just go and approach them. A couple of PTs have even walked passed where Iv been lifting a weight or machine and offered to corrected me in how to do it again properly (Tom and Jonnie) based at Blackpool.
There are always staff at the entrance/exit to greet u or say THANKYOU on my way out.

The classes that I have tried already are burn, step and pump. All have been a really good workout and pushed me to get it completed loved it!

I like the gym a lot, great equipment and plenty of room.
Unfortunately the £5 for the first month has attracted a lot of people with no gym experience.
It's only a matter of time before someone sues you for an injury.
I've had to step in a few times when I see someone trying their best to injure themselves!
Shouldn't staff be doing this?

Love this gym , definitely the best gym in Blackpool.

Hi been a regular since opening day 5 times a wk no problems with the equipment or getting on any of it .1 small problem is the toilet brushs and holders think you need to monitor them a bit more .but overall excellent gym.

Absolutely love the gym and all the classes, but my score is based on the fact that the COVID/hygiene measures are not enforced and do not seem sufficient.

Equipment feels a bit lightweight and cheap which explains why some of it was “out of order” on opening day. Also it could do with a couple of extra sit up benches.
There are signs up but no one puts the weights back when finished. Even the staff don’t do it when they are training (Ryan) which doesn’t really set much of an example!
Would benefit from someone policing it properly.
However, all that being said, it is a good gym and a nice place to be. Will be interesting to see what it’s like in years time once it’s no longer shiny and new.

Tip top! Good machines and great atmosphere. My only concern is the policy on masks in the gym during this hard time.
