Decent gym
Decent gym, could do with a hack squat and the squat rack in the main area on rubber floor is too spongey, this is dangerous and should consider putting a stable platform in the squat rack

I enjoyed the first day after a long time without attending a gym. I liked the gym, I was recommended and I recommend it to other people. It has a good space and is well located in the city centre.

Love this place, my tour before signing up was great, I got all my questions answered and some great advice. The gym is always clean, bright and staff is nice and welcoming. So far so good.

Deadlift Platforms need serious work !!
Rest of gym is amazing (Cardiff central). Easy 5 stars. Unfortunately the deadlift platforms are falling apart and the foam is really soft meaning its extra difficult to get the weight off the ground. In addition, the bumper plates in this area are worn and left all over the place. If these problems were fixed it would be an easy 5 starts

My experience was wonderful as the JDgym staff at Cardiff were so supportive that day as they took their time to help me register that day,though I only went for enquiry but because of the attention and time they gave me,I was convinced to register and pay that same day.

Overall the gym is very nice
Overall the gym is very nice. Clean and plenty of equipment.
The only thing that I need must be improved is the amount and quality of selectorized strength machines.
Only 1 piece of each is very little, and they look like poor and cheap quality.
Plate load machines, cardio machines, free weights and spinning bikes are great.
The classes room is also amazing, and the changing rooms very clean.

No complaints bar one big ish one. They definitely need to provide a lot more blue roll all around their facilities especially now during the hotter season. Apart from that membership worth the price

The reason I am giving it 2 stars
The reason I am giving it 2 stars. Why do I HAVE to get a phone so I can download the app to get in the door, when I have been using my pass number without any problems.
I will NOT adhere to your demands, so my payment will cease and i will go to another gym, we have so many here in Cardiff that DONT expect its paying customers to do this... Been waiting all day for a password reminder.
Thank you JD Gyms, quick enough to make a demand, but you just take your sweet time in answering a question...
This has no bearing on the staff.
They work so hard to keep the gym safe, clean and tidy, I have yet to see them standing around playing on their phones as I have in other Gyms..
Keep up the excellent work guys, you make the gym a pleasurable place to train.
