JD Gyms - Derby レビュー 

Signed up through the website by a recommendation from friends, when I went to the gym I couldn't get in, pressed the button to call for staff. Which I had no response and my friends went into the gym and couldn't find anyone working there for 20mins. Felt like I've been rob, with my time and money.

Edit to the responses of jd gyms. The qr code was not working, and membership was paid. I was even chatting to others who couldn't get in with their qr code at the same time.

I’ve recently joined JD and it’s exactly what I was looking for. I attend the Derby gym and the variety/number of machines is really good. Love that it’s open 24hrs so I can go anytime that suits me. The only negative is that some of the machines are a bit dirty and could do with a good clean, particularly the treadmills (drinks holders etc).

Gym is good but chaning rooms and toilets are a mess. Need better house keeping and could do with more cubicle chaning rooms. Little touches like lack of hooks for cloths/towels in shower are big let down.

The BP class was great however treadmills were filthy .Old chewing gum on one and the cup trays and trays very dirty looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for some time .

Good facilities and friendly people.
However the yoga and Pilates sessions are but the tutor instructions are difficult to hear due to the loud music and being a large room. It would be helpful if the tutor has a mic.

Gym is well equipped with brand new machines. It’s very spacious and clean as well.

Excellent renovation

The saunas be turned off before 10min before 10pm it is not fare for people who come from.work

It’s my first time, some part of Gym is getting refreshed. So far good experience.

Gym staff are lovely and I love going there definitely recommend it to anyone and the gym community is amazing !!!!

I'm really nervous but everyone has made me so welcome at jd gyms just wish I had joined years ago . Absolutely love it and the feeling of getting fitter is excellent

Clean and tidy gym

SCAMMY & SLY COMPANY!! First of all, i payed for my first month, gym in itself is ok nothing special. Couldn't use my QR code to get in, im a young female that works evenings so i typically go after work (12am ish) so its dark and the main door is closed so you have to scan to get inside the building. Well, my QR code didnt work so was sat trying to scan it for ages outside on my own. Had to go home. This has happened numerous times, ive had to go in with my boyfriend to actually get in at times.
Dont get me started about customer service, useful as a chocolate teapot. Scammy and sly.
I told them about my issue and that i have cancelled due to this reason. They said i should have contacted earlier.. but getting in contact is a nightmare to say the least. I said im not happy & that i have been charged again for a gym i cant use, she said you should have spoke to the staff in the gym (there are are no staff at 12am!!) and how am i supposed to ask for help if im stuck outside?!! No sympathy or help was given. No refund for the payment they had just taken out even though i cant use the gym.
What kind of gym makes you fill out a request to cancel? Seems so sly cause they dont get back to you. Are you taking the piss!
Honestly JD stick to selling clothes you cant scam people out of those.
Should’ve gone puregym

Gym with much equipment and space, suitable to different types of trainings. There are multiple areas and it is air conditioned.
Perhaps, one area of development would be the regular cleaning if weights and barbell - there's a feel that the equipment is not always cleaned after use.
Changing rooms are satisfactory. For an even better service, sinks could be improved as a bit defective. Overall, a spacious and well furnished gym, featuring various classes and open 24/7.
