Je me permets de vous adresser la présente réclamation concernant mon véhicule Jeep Renegade, mis en circulation en 2017 et totalisant à ce jour 91 000 km.

Ce véhicule a récemment été pris en charge par la concession Jeep de Vannes afin d’établir un diagnostic relatif à un dysfonctionnement du moteur MultiAir 1.4 Turbo. À l’issue de cette intervention, il m’a été indiqué que le moteur devait être remplacé intégralement en raison d’une défaillance du système MultiAir.

Une telle panne, survenant à un kilométrage aussi limité, constitue une anomalie grave et ne correspond en aucun cas à une usure normale. Elle révèle un défaut structurel affectant un élément essentiel du véhicule.

À ce titre, je vous rappelle que, conformément aux articles 1641 et suivants du Code civil relatifs à la garantie des vices cachés, le vendeur est tenu de garantir les défauts non apparents rendant le bien impropre à l’usage auquel il est destiné ou en diminuant fortement l’usage.

En l’espèce :
• le défaut affecte directement le moteur, organe essentiel du véhicule,
• il est antérieur à la vente et non visible lors de l’acquisition,
• et il rend le véhicule impropre à son usage normal.

Par ailleurs, le coût annoncé pour la réparation est particulièrement excessif :
• environ 10 000 € pour le remplacement du moteur,
• auxquels s’ajoutent 475,87 € de frais de diagnostic déjà acquittés,
• pour une prestation facturée à 162 € de l’heure.

Il est manifestement inacceptable qu’un client supporte seul les conséquences financières d’un défaut de conception aussi grave.

En conséquence, je vous mets formellement en demeure de :
• prendre en charge de manière intégrale (ou à défaut majoritaire) le remplacement du moteur,
• procéder au remboursement des frais de diagnostic engagés.

Jeep Avenger

Jeep Avenger neuve prise en leasing en janvier 2026 et déjà en panne au bout de 2 semaines. Il m’a fallu presque 1 mois pour que le garage accepte enfin de la prendre en réparation.

L’assistance que je paie tous les mois m’a prêté une voiture essence, ce qui m’a coûté cher en carburant, sans proposer un véhicule équivalent. Quand j’ai contacté Jeep France pour demander un remboursement des frais d’essence aucun remboursement possible sauf bon d achat sur prochaine vidange que je paye déjà aussi donc pas d intérêt.

Entre le service client et la prise en charge au garage, l’expérience a été catastrophique. Très déçu, je ne reprendrai plus de Jeep.

Nie wieder Jeep!!!!
Mein Wrangler, gekauft 2021 wurde im April 2025 aufgrund einer Rückrufaktion wegen defekter Akkus stillgelegt. Das Akku und weitere Ersatzteile sind seid dem nicht lieferbar. Stellantis meldet sich im November, dass ich informiert werde, sobald die Teile lieferbar sind…… hahaha
Das war mein letztes Auto von Stellantis. Ich kann jedem nur abraten.
Service = NULL
Das Auto ist nichts wert.

i thought that jeep dissappeared from…

i thought that jeep dissappeared from the industyr, but saw recently several cars...
so, nope, they are still here...I talked to the owner abt the car, well, what I understood was that the engine is really powerful, the car doesnt get stuck easily in the muddy environemnt, also the fuel consumption for such beast cars is not so high...

one thing is price. a bit high to me, but i ll think abt it

Concession Jeep du Havre à fuir

Nous avons acheté un Jeep Avenger début 2025 : nous avons roulé avec 4 mois ! Depuis il est immobilisé au garage! Nous sommes tombés en panne 2 fois. Certes nous avons un véhicule de location mais aucune solution n’est proposée : une honte ! Vendre un véhicule semble ne pas être un soucis , le SAV quant à lui est vraiment à revoir !

2021 Jeep Cherokee with the famous PTU problem! Imagine a drivetrain failing before 60k miles! You should be so embarrassed! Just found out there are class action lawsuits for this issue. And to add insult to injury, the car's exhaust pipes also need to be replaced.....people need to know the unreliability of the Jeep brand.

Jeep,...une histoire de catastrophe

Non, n'achetez pas cette marque ! Silence totale du côté du concessionnaire de Mâcon. Contacté, le service client de Jeep France et Stellantis ne répond pas.
Depuis 4 ans voici les problèmes sur ma Jeep Compass : radar central et côté défectueux, lecteur de panneaux en panne, chargeur de téléphone à induction en panne, Uconnect défectueux, fonctionnement intermittent du réglage automatique des feux, lumière du tableau de bord bloqué,... et j'en passe ! On comprend maintenant pourquoi le groupe Stellentis est en perte de vitesse.

I bought my Jeep grand Cherokee Eco…

I bought my Jeep grand Cherokee Eco diesel back in December of last year 2024 and since then it’s been in the shop more than it’s been out it has costed over $5000 so far and it’s in the shop again looking at it about another 2000 I have never owned a vehicle that has been worse to me than this Jeep grand Cherokee. I love it. I just can’t keep it on the road. Jeep really dropped the ball on the Eco diesel. They dropped it bad and quite frankly they do nothing to fix it. I’ll never own a jeep again. I’m not in my life.

🚨 My Jeep Lemon Story 🚨

I bought my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Certified Pre-Owned on Feb 10, 2024 with only 13,554 miles.
From day one, I’ve dealt with persistent, intermittent grinding noises during acceleration.

Since then, it’s been in and out of the shop:

Multiple service visits with no permanent fix

Numerous calls, emails, and escalations to Jeep/Customer Care

Original resolution request sent July 22, 2025

Follow-up on Aug 7 with an Aug 12 deadline for a written proposal — still no resolution

I have now filed complaints with the Tennessee Attorney General and NHTSA and retained legal counsel

Jeep had every opportunity to make this right — instead, they stalled. This is exactly why consumers need stronger protections under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and state lemon laws.

I’m sharing this so other Jeep owners know: document everything and don’t let manufacturers drag their feet when it comes to your safety and your rights.

N’achetez jamais une JEEP WRANGLER !

Un simple impact qui a fêlé mon pare-brise s’est transformé en cauchemar. Mon véhicule est immobilisé chez un garagiste agréé Jeep depuis plus de 4 mois, et on m’annonce encore au moins 7 semaines d’attente avant que les réparations puissent être envisagés.
Résultat : plus de 6 mois minimum sans véhicule pour un pare-brise ! C’est tout simplement inacceptable.
Service après-vente inexistant, délais absurdes, communication quasi nulle… Je suis complètement écœuré par cette marque. Jeep vend des véhicules qu’elle est incapable d’entretenir correctement.

Dangerously Unreliable Vehicle

I’m writing this as a warning to anyone considering the Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe. While marketed as a premium plug-in hybrid SUV with off-road capability, my experience has been one of repeated mechanical failures, a critical safety defect, and a complete lack of accountability from Jeep and Stellantis.
I leased the vehicle in July 2023. Within days, the car began showing warnings related to the hybrid system. It wouldn’t shift out of park, and over the next several months, it repeatedly failed to start. The vehicle was in and out of service for nearly three months total across multiple dealerships for issues including battery failure, wiring harness replacement, software updates, and a faulty auxiliary pump. Jeep eventually offered a goodwill settlement, which I accepted in August 2024, hoping that would mark the end of the problems.
It wasn’t.
In May 2025, while driving 20 mph on a paved suburban road, the driver-side rear lower control arm fractured without warning. The rear wheel shifted and I was barely able to stop the vehicle. Had this occurred at freeway speed, the outcome could have been deadly. This is a catastrophic suspension failure on a car with fewer than 29,000 miles and no accident history. The vehicle had been serviced just five months prior with no mention of any suspension issue.
Despite the severity of this failure, Jeep denied warranty coverage. The dealership cited small surface “witness marks” on the control arm—minor nicks that supposedly proved an impact caused the failure. The damage they pointed to could easily result from regular road use, and in fact, the more visible damage on the failed part occurred after it was dragged on the pavement after the failure. Jeep ignored all other facts: no collision, paved-road use only, and the vehicle being marketed as a trail-rated, off-road SUV. If a part this critical can fail under normal driving conditions, the vehicle has no business being on the road—let alone advertised for rugged terrain.
I filed a formal complaint with NHTSA due to the clear safety implications, and a case with the National Center for Dispute Settlement. NCDS ultimately closed the case, stating it did not qualify because Jeep denied it was a warranty issue. Jeep’s national customer service has now closed my case without resolution, and my outreach to their senior leadership, including the CEO of Jeep and SVP of Customer Experience, has gone unanswered.
I’ve paid out of pocket for repairs and now face a $5,600 lease termination fee to escape this dangerous vehicle. Jeep refuses to take any responsibility or offer reasonable support.
If you’re thinking of buying or leasing a Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe—or trusting Jeep to stand behind their vehicles—think again. I’ve never felt more let down by a manufacturer. The brand has shown a complete disregard for safety, quality, and customer care.

They don't care about their dealerships…

They don't care about their dealerships behavior against customer. This is a review about their dealership MacHaik Georgetown, TX. But they don't care

Being rude and disrespectful is their base philosophy. After previous adventure with them, I purchased a Jeep Rubicon, from another dealership, and I purchased a F-150 Tremor from another dealership (MacHaik is only 5 minutes to my house) today I deciced to give a chance to their service and brought my wife's Rubicon there for service. I had to ask a question about one of our concers related to rear window, headed to a service consultant and wanted to show what is that. He told me that "I'm busy with work" like my vehicle isn't a part of their work! And I brought this to their service manager, but he was same. I left there and won't go back for a service. We closed a car buying attempt from them many times ago.

Title: Extremely Disappointing Experience with 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee – Poor Durability & Lack of Support
I am writing to share my highly disappointing experience with the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and the lack of customer support from Stellantis. As a long-time admirer of Jeep’s reputation for durability, I expected much more from this vehicle, especially as I approach retirement and needed a reliable vehicle.
Here are the major issues I've encountered:
1. Rusting Parts Within 1.5 Years:
o The wheel lug nuts began rusting at just 1.5 years, requiring immediate replacement.
2. Brake Components Deteriorating Early:
o At 2 years, I discovered that the brake cylinders and drums had rusted and deteriorated to the point of falling apart during a routine brake pad replacement. This posed a serious health and safety risk.
3. Emergency Brake Cable Rusting:
o By 3 years, the emergency brake cable rusted and snapped, which was yet another sign of poor quality parts used in this vehicle.
Despite living in Southern Ontario, where the climate is comparable to Michigan (where the vehicle is manufactured), I made sure to maintain my vehicle carefully, including regular washings during winter to prevent corrosion. Unfortunately, these issues were still prevalent.
4. Transmission Failure at 95,000 km:
o After a minor rear-end accident, my transmission failed, leading to a diagnostic code (P0733-00). Initially, I believed it was accident-related, but after months of investigation, it was confirmed the damage might not be linked to the accident. Since I had exceeded the 100,000 km warranty, I was left facing a $14,000 repair bill.
5. Stellantis' Customer Service:
o I contacted Stellantis customer service multiple times, and while a claim was created, I did not receive any meaningful resolution. After 5 months of waiting, my warranty was denied, leaving me with no financial assistance for the repairs. During this time, I continued making finance payments without a car to use.
In the end, I had to pay out-of-pocket for a $14,000 transmission repair at an independent mechanic, as I could no longer afford further delays.
This experience has made me question Jeep’s claim of durability and whether cost-cutting measures are affecting the quality of their vehicles. I would advise potential buyers to seriously reconsider before investing in this brand, as my experience has been filled with frustration and financial strain.
Would I recommend this car? Unfortunately, based on my experience, I cannot.

We bought a 2021 Jeep Mohave Gladiator…

We bought a 2021 Jeep Mohave Gladiator - we have owned older jeeps. Recently were notified that a recall was sent out for the clutch in this model because it over heated and could cause fires due to clutch heating excessively. We took it to Whitten Brothers Jeep 10701 Midlothian Tpke, North Chesterfield, VA 23235 and had recall done April 21, 2025. We went on vacation to get married in Corolla, NC May 10, 2025, and had never taken the jeep off road prior to this day. On May 12, 2025 we were on the beach and had shifted into low 4-wheel drive for literally a minute - not in deep sand - when the jeep started showing "Clutch is hot" push clutch in to reduce shifting message. We immediately stopped driving and and pulled to a safe place where we turned the jeep off. After giving it 10-15 minutes to cool down we proceeded to leave the beach because the jeep seemed powerless. We took it to a local dealer in Kitty Hawk, NC at 3000 N Croatan Hwy, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948 where we were told that the warranty work would not be honored because the diagnosis showed the code was given 3 times and therefore the warranty would not be honored, by the repair advisor and the manager Joe Wilson. Upon calling Whitten, I was told by Jason, the service manager to call Jeep customer service. I called Jeep customer service to be told that the warranty would cover the issue but was told again by Joe Wilson, the repair would cost $2800 to repair and would take at least a week to get parts in. We came to NC to get married and take a very needed vacation. This literally devasted our vacation plans, since we now had to rent a vehicle and get this jeep towed to the Midlothian Jeep dealer where the work was done. The local Kitty Hawk dealer was happy to rent us a jeep for f$199 a day to use while we were in NC. While we were at the dealership another customer was there with his Mohave Gladiator trying to get a brake issue repaired that he had been in that dealership for - multiple times the same problem. This time he was being told that he would have to pay for it. We still have to figure out rental car to get home, I am sharing this so that other families will not go through the ordeal that we have, once this is resolved and this jeep is safe to sell - we will never be a Jeep family again. Jeep sells inferior products and is perfectly fine passing its issues to the customers.

L’horreur depuis des mois

Je vie l’horreur depuis des mois.
Ma voiture neuve est tombée en panne au bout de 2 mois.
Jeep a refusé sa prise en charge et l’a abandonné chez le dépanneur.
J’ai du trouver un garage moi même...
Bref le pire c’est que le Service Réclamation m’a dit : “ vous n’auriez pas du être gentille!elle aurait été prise en charge.
On vous offre un bon d’achat comme ça si vous avez la CHANCE de retomber en panne ça couvrira une petite partie des frais”!
Comment peut-on dire ça à un client ???

N’achetez jamais une jeep neuve chez jeep!

Bref Mon CAUCHEMAR continue car jeep a perdu ma carte grise.

Jeeps are unique vehicles that are capable of doing great things. Jeep and Landrover are the only two companies where you can walk onto a showroom floor, pick a stock vehicle and take it offroad with confidence. Jeep vehicles can be tremendous value for money if you buy at the right time. Jeep tends to be generous in warranty interpretation.
