Richardson’s Jersey Royals are proudly grown on the island of Jersey by one of the island’s oldest farming families, with a heritage dating back to the early 1500s. Built on generations of knowledge and care for the land, our approach combines traditional farming values with modern techniques to produce Jersey Royals of exceptional quality and flavour. Our potatoes are carefully hand picked and gently handled to protect their delicate skins, before being washed and packed using a unique system designed to preserve freshness and taste. From field to fork, every step is focused on delivering the authentic Jersey Royal experience that has made them so highly regarded. We grow all of our crops to LEAF Marque standards, with a strong emphasis on sustainability and soil health. Our use of liquid seaweed as part of our growing process supports both the land and the flavour and texture of our potatoes. Whether purchased locally or delivered directly to your door, Richardson’s Jersey Royals are a true taste of Jersey: fresh, distinctive, and produced with care at every stage.

This is the second year I have bought


This is the second year I have bought Jersey potatoes from Richardson farm.
They are my very favourite of all the rest. I buy for 2 of my sons too,as they love them as much as I do

I’ve already reviewed these potatoes


I’ve already reviewed these potatoes but I just had to return and write another.
The consistency has not wavered over many deliveries I have had so far! The freshness and flavour of these Jerseys just can’t be matched from a supermarket

Always delicious, brilliant quality and quickly delivered, I’m always excited waiting for the next box!

Potato’s are excellent

Potato’s are excellent, great quality and wonderful flavour. The service received from Richardson’s has always been first class.
We always look forward to eating them as early possible
it is a first sign of summer when the skin almost falls off and we can forget peeling the old last seasons crop.

Nothing has changed in that regard from last year - unfortunately on rare occasions delivery issues can occur, as happened from time to time last year as well. However, this year we have looked at ways to better deal with these instances to better respond.

We now automatically flag any such issues and send replacement orders where needed. We can also reassure you that if an order cannot be fulfilled, a refund would of course be issued.

We completely understand your frustration and can only apologise for the inconvenience caused. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

Had Richardson's Jersey Royals for the first time found the hole experience second to none .from ordering our jersey royals to receiving them .found myself not just eating then with my dinner bit also eaten the ones that was done extra after all.so tiny with a wonderful tast

Great speedy service

Great speedy service, excellently packaged.
Disappointed with the taste, although tasty and cooked well, the JR taste of 30+ years ago was not there.

Finally

At last I've had Jersey Royals more like I remember them after a few years of potatoes under the JR name but didn't quite make it. However,delicious as your spuds are ,had for dinner today,I still have a more distinctive flavour somewhere in my mind, perhaps age( mine!)makes a difference, lots of things don't seem the same.
The potatoes were delivered soon after ordering,neatly and safely packed and similar size, supermarket ones are nothing like uniform, some being quite large which may affect the flavour (?) Our Everi deliverers are reliable so package delivered safely. Thanks

Beautiful and worth it.

First time ordering, delivery was super quick, arrived the next day. Jersey Royals were exactly as I remember, nothing like those sold in supermarkets, beautiful in quality and taste. Expensive, but worth every penny. I will be ordering again. Thank you.

They are the best tasting potatoes

The fact i can get jersey royals that arrive fresh, is fantastic i am 73 and these take me back because they taste the same as ones my mum used to buy and the taste is so beautiful and fresh i know they a little bit more expensive the horrible washed ones is worth it for because they taste fresh and well worth the money

Amazing! The best Jersey Royals I’ve ever eaten. I’ve bought these for several years and buy them throughout the season. Well packed and fast shipping too. Much better than those you can buy in any shop!
