Proud to work with a sensible caseload and provide a personal service. JM Conveyancing is based in Askern, Doncaster and is headed up by Julie Mortimer, a qualified Licensed Conveyancer. Julie launched her business in 2022 after working for more than 30 years in an overloaded residential conveyancing industry and her aim is to provide an impressive conveyancing experience to her clients, getting ahead of any hold ups quickly to ensure the smoothest hitch-free conveyancing experience possible. She can do this as she is control of her own caseload (unlike employed Conveyancers) and this is kept at a third of the usual employed Conveyancer’s caseload. Julie has control of the service she can provide and this is the core of her business model. This sets her above other conveyancers.

Superb proactive professional
We had not worked with Julie before and required help re transfer of names on property deeds. You will not find a more proactive, knowledgeable, professional, customer focused service than with Julie. Julie is very accomplished and attentive to detail whilst also explaining to clients, in layman's language, the actions being taken. Julie explained the whole process to us, each step within the process, the relevant timescales, and who is responsible for specific actions. It worked like clockwork and well within the timescales quoted.
As other reviewers have said - she gets the job done!! We don't know what we would have done without her.

Great work by Julie
My partner & I have bought and sold many properties over the last few decades.
We recently sold one of our properties and the work was given to Julie Mortimer who we had not used before. Julie did the conveyancing for the sale, and we found her to be extremely helpful and very proactive in dealing with the sale of the property.
There were issues with the searches due to technical problems at Bolton council, rather than allowing the situation to drag on Julie found a way to move the sale forward, and complete sooner than would have otherwise been possible.
Julie was always easy to contact, explained the situation clearly and offered options that we could use to progress the sale. Julie has obviously gained much experience as a conveyancer, understands the processes well and we will definitely be using her again.
