Simple website to use and found exactly what I was looking for.
Lots of options to purchase and delivery was quick.

The company was really good, phoning to say they hadn’t got something and refunding the money straight away. Brilliant service.

Great selection of products to fix what I needed. Good range of sizes ( I only needed a small spool of cord).

Only gripe is that shipping costs were expensive (compared to others) but overall cost was cheaper than local shop by nearly 50%.

This a company that is prepared to "go the extra mile" in order to assist customers. Despite only wishing to order a small amount of buckram, one of the proprietors kindly found the time to ring me at home to discuss the payment details. All e-mail queries are answered by return, their products come well packaged and are delivered within a day or two. I look forward to placing more orders with them in the near future.

Outstanding. I had searched for days to find the product I needed, both trying to find a shop still supplying curtain making accessories in Surrey, and failing that on line. Eventually found John Downs, who not only had the product at a very reasonable price, but posted it to me in just a couple of days.

I had a phone call immediately after placing my order, to say that the roll of fabric would be sent from the supplier to speed up delivery.

Good company with wide range of stock. What I received was slightly different to what I expected but worked well for my purpose. Will use again and would recommend

Only request would be that shops opening times are added to website as I couldn’t find them anywhere obvious and I called in to collect on a day they were closed .They are on the answerphone message however, and staff extremely helpful and did post my order first class once I contacted them 😊
