Teacher: Mridula- The teacher was nice & encouraging, & supportive, so that was nice. This encouraged me to want to make the dish again myself, in the future. & If you didn't have a certain ingredient, or if something went slightly wrong, she was reassuring as well.

Teacher: Rola- The teacher checked up on each of the sudents, throughout the session, to make sure they were up to speed, & to address any questions that they may have had.

First of all, these are fantastic value for money. But more than that, the classes are fun and the food I made always delicious. I learn about other cultures and also learn how to be a better cook as I pick up tricks and lessons.

Cooking with Atul was a very special experience! Diaspo made it fun and easy. Seeing everyone else’s dishes as they cooked helped make it less intimidating and more fun. We have already recruited another couple to join us in another class!

I recently did a class with Sunita learning to make her Butter Chicken. She was a brilliant teacher, very engaging and gave lots of extra tips and advice. The pacing and timing was perfect and she checked in regularly with the group to make sure we were all on track. Needless to say the end result was delicious and it's a recipe I will no doubt return to again and again! The group sizes are kept small so it's a really interactive experience and feels very personal. I think Diaspo is a great initiative run by a wonderful community of people, I'd highly recommend booking a class!

Shaillo's class was fabulous! The instructions and preparation in advance were really clear, and we were guided with a lot of care through the whole session. Shaillo talked and demonstrated step by step, checking in on us all to see how we were doing and looking at our creations, as well as guiding us through the history of the recipe. PLUS my gulab jamun were delicious. I'll definitely be re-booking.

Have had the pleasure of working with Harish and Diaspo twice now and can't speak highly enough of the experience. This weeks class was run by Zal and was absolutely fantastic. Zal manages to cook, ask and answer questions, check everyone is ok and stay calm and unruffled throughout, no easy task over zoom! I would recommend anyone who hasnt yet to try diaspo, the classes are well organised, the chefs are incredible and the end results are super tasty! 5 stars all the way!

I've done 2 classes with Diaspo and both have been with Amrita. Not only are her recipes fantastic and absolutely delicious but she is such a great teacher and really breaks down the explanation clearly and ensures everyone understands. She also gives you so many extra tips and tricks along the way - you definitely cannot find these on the internet! The Tadka dhal is now a weekly staple is our home :). Absolutely love these classes and hope to continue learning lots more.

Diaspo was a great whole company social! Suzan was so engaging and patient with all of us, helping us to keep up with the recipe.
Along with some cultural background of the dish, we had some personal insights and at the end, a delicious mousaka!

We had a virtual team event at work with Diaspo and it was fantastic. Really easy to organise with Harish and the session was brilliant. Aicha was really lovely and a great teacher. She was particularly good at adjusting the instructions slightly for everyone’s different needs and ingredients that we had, especially as some were cooking vegetarian variations of the dish. All in all a wonderful session and the team had very positive feedback. I’ll definitely recommend to other colleagues for the future

I booked a Diaspo cooking class for a team social - it was an incredible experience! My colleagues and I thought Aicha was such a dynamic and fun teacher. I’d recommend Diaspo to anyone looking for a fun social with family, friends or colleagues!

Myself and my company recently scheduled a Malaysian Cooking Class through Diaspo. The entire process was efficient and simple to organise, with Harish being extremely helpful along the way. The classes are also incredibly affordable which is great.

When it came to the class, we received extremely positive feedback from each of our participants saying that they would be highly likely to join another session should it be held. Our teacher Zal was personable and a fantastic teacher. All attendees felt they learnt a lot about Malaysian culture and cooking, and we enjoyed hearing her stories. We even now have a list of restaurants to go to in London when lockdown is over which is great!

Thank you Diaspo for a fantastic session. We shall hopefully be booking more in the near future!

We loved the Diaspo experience. We cooked a delicious meal with our teacher Sunita's brilliant guidance and recipe. It really helped us to connect and bond as a team.

I’ve been to two Diaspo cooking classes and am hoping to do a third soon. The classes are excellent - the teachers are friendly and knowledgeable and the we found it really easy to book tailored, private sessions as well as joining the scheduled ones. You get all the information you need ahead of time and great joining support from Diaspo themselves. It’s a fun way to connect with friends, family or colleagues, especially while we can’t do that in person.

I booked a private cooking class with Diaspo for my Dad's birthday. The recipe was simple and delicious and Zal was a great teacher. I would highly reccomend it for anyone looking for a fun activity to do during lockdown!

I was part of two private classes during the Christmas season with Aicha and Zal and they were both phenomenal!! The Chicken Tagine by Aicha was filled with old stories of the dish’s origins and tales of Morrocan cuisine and it felt like Aicha was in my kitchen! Zal’s tamarind fish was incredible - one of the best dishes I’ve managed to cook this year!

I though the virtual classes work really well and would highly recommend to work groups, friends or family as a fun, interactive activity!

I love the variety of recipes and the cooks who make me feel at home.
Timing are great. You feel comfortable asking questions and cooking too with all. Great way to connect with food and people.
The website makes it easy to choose which one to pick, understand who is going to be guiding you, the ingredients & tools you need.

I've participated in two classes with Diaspo now and loved them both. I picked classes for dishes I would never normally try, which has given me confidence to be more adventurous and hands on in the kitchen. The small class sizes, friendly and helpful chefs and technical oversight, means the classes run smoothly and you feel very comfortable speaking up and asking questions. I also love that the sense of community, culture and tradition you get from the classes. I would recommend to anyone looking for something different to do, would also make a great gift
