I wish I had read the reviews before buying a dress from this website. I had seen the same dress in next but it had sold out. I stupidly thought if next sell the brand it should be good. How wrong was I?
My £89 dress came in a 12 inch x 12 inch plastic bag stuffed in and creased up. It would obviously be creased. No care what so ever in packaging. Why on earth would an occasion wear company think this is acceptable?
The dress was called Shirley and the quality was similar to a dress you could buy from a cheap market stall.
Basically Coast, monsoon price but in reality better quality from primark.
I emailed no reply I sent a message on Instagram no reply.
Plus the dresses have lots of styles with same fabric so if you are thinking of wearing one of these dresses for an occasion chances are so will someone else.
Very disappointed with my purchase and extremely concerned no-one can bother to reply to customers.
Avoid this company they just don't care.
I returned a dress on 1st April
I returned a dress on 1st April. Received an email on 8th April to say they'd received it and had credited my account. I emailed on 29th April to say credit hadn't appeared on my statement. Have tried ringing but apparently number 'out of service'. Am I £85 down and no dress? Rubbish customer service and complicated
return arrangements. I wrote this review on 4th May....the money has now appeared in my account.......

I absolutely love Jolie Moi dresses, I have several. They arenât cheap but quality is great. I do purchase through John Lewis though so never had problems with any returns.

I was concerned when I read the reviews but my experience has been very positive. My return refund was processed very quickly. The only criticism is their lack of response to emails or from their customer service department which makes you feel a little uneasy.
Jersey Maxi Dress - My favourite dress!
As a plus-sized person, I find it hard to find comfortable clothes and that I feel great in - but the jersey maxi dress changed that completely. It may be expensive, but it fits like a dream. It provides excellent bust coverage, gives a lovely shape (in at the waist and flows out) and even has pockets. Thanks, Jolie Moi, for making such a fabulous dress.

Do not deal with this rip off company - no full refund when item is not as described - I ended up paying for delivery to me and then return delivery - and up to 3 weeks for this to be processed - avoid, avoid, avoid
Beware of their returns arrangements
Beware of their returns arrangements. I ordered four dresses two of which were the same but in two sizes as I didnât know which would be the best option. Only needed to return one dress luckily. Their instructions indicate you need to pay for second class post but item needs to be weighed and tracked. However this is not an available option with Royal Mail so has to be first class and £8.95 for one dress!!! Will not order from their website again because of this and would have proved very expensive if I had needed to return more.

Awful customer service. Ordered a dress, it didn't arrive, instead was sent a totally different dress three sizes bigger. Jolie Moi continued to collect the full amount from my account, despite stating on the delivery form that my requested dress was out of stock. When i contacted customer service they suggested a refund (for the wrong amount) had been made for the out of stock item but the card details they said had been used for the refund were not mine. When i questioned this, they said it was an automatic process and they do not hold card details for refunds - their process is clearly flawed if they are refunding the wrong account. Their only suggestion to remedy the error was to contact my bank and I am still waiting for a refund on the dress I returned. The customer service person was also quite rude.
In summary, I am now £60 down with no dress. Very frustrating and disappointing. Avoid.
No problems encountered
I purchased a dress from Jolie Moi and only afterwards read the reviews on trustpilot which concerned me. However, I can only review from my experience, but no problems at all. The dress took just over a week to arrive and their customer service responded to my query swiftly. The dress itself was very pretty and decent quality, but unfortunately I had to return. I followed the return instructions and emailed with tracking information and less than a week later the refund has been issued. Unfortunately, had to pay £4.20 to return the dress and given online is the only option for purchasing Jolie Moi clothing (where I live anyway) it would be more attractive if they offered free returns (hence 4 stars).
Recommend - fast delivery, good customer service and refund of return
I recently purchased 2 dresses from Jolie Moi and the delivery was speedy and well informed. The dresses are beautiful and well made but I needed to return due to a size issue. I followed their return instructions and emailed to say that I was returning the item, and then sent a copy of the post office receipt with the tracking number.
Their customer service confirmed receipt of my email and the notification of the refund was made quickly and I was informed by email and text message.
If you follow their procedures then you will have no issues. Definitely recommend.

The products tend to be satisfactory but if you order directly from their website the customer service is non-existent. I received a faulty product, but am unhappy that I have to pay for returns after having to pay for the initial delivery as well. The initial delivery fee also won't be refunded according to the website (which is in violation of the E-Commerce Directive). My query about returns with customer service hasn't been answered in over a week meaning I've now missed my 14 day period to make a return.
Considering the cost of items is usually indicative of a good service - that is most definitely not the case here!! Won't trust ordering from them again - a risk of losing more money I'm not willing to take.

Shocking customer service
Shocking customer service, ordered several items that were apparently "out of stock" - their excuse that I could order them was that their website had not been updated!!!! This in itself was not the problem, the problem was that they haven't refunded me for the items they can't supply !!!! When I telephoned to query this the woman I spoke to was so very rude and unhelpful.
Failure to refund for a return after nearly 2 months
I returned a dress on April 21st. Since then, I managed to speak to one person in customer services, who said that my refund would be processed that week. Two emails later, and nearly 2 months later, I've had no refund and no response to my further emails. This is really terrible customer service. I like their clothing but would never buy anything from them again.

I ordered a dress from them, but did not like it once received, I had to pay to send it back 2nd class signed for as per instructions. No refund given over a month later. I have emailed twice as there is no telephone contact number, bet they are going unreplied. I am out of pocket for a dress that I dont have and extra delivery charges.
