We chose the JP Refurbishment team to help us refurbish our Victorian home during the Summer of 2025, and we were thoroughly impressed by their reliable and professional service. We would highly recommend them.

Our experience as an architect and project manager with JP Refurbishment has been excellent. They are a family-run company with many years of experience behind them. The standard of detail and finish is very high, and whenever there were any supply issues with the products specified in the project, they were very proactive in offering several alternatives, all of which were acceptable. They carried out the work for a complete refurbishment of a flat in central London, in Pimlico, including the three bathrooms, kitchen and the painting and redecoration of the entire property. They also completely renovated the services (heating, electricity and hot water). They were also impeccable in keeping the site tidy and clean with regard to the residents’ association. For us, it was also an added bonus that they spoke Spanish and had extensive experience in the construction sector in Spain, as, being Spanish ourselves, this made communication much easier. We can wholeheartedly recommend Jon, Jorge and their entire team.

We recently had JP Refurbishment carry out work on our hallway, living room and kitchen, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Jon and his family team take real pride in what they do — their craftsmanship and attention to detail are fantastic. It’s clear that making the customer happy is their top priority. We appreciated the detailed estimate and the communication along the progress.
We feel absolutely at home in our beautiful living room now thanks to them.

They totally transformed my bathroom.

All rebuilt an exterior wooden-clad wall for me and repointed the brickwork at the front of the flat.

All excellent quality work. And a very nice group of craftsmen.

JP really helped us alot. They recommended us a great fitter, and got a replacement parts swiftly when required. They were quick and left the place tidy. Recommended.

Cannot recommend Jon and his team high enough! Extremely professional and friendly, constant communication and great work standards with a very reasonable price. Sebastian carried out our Bathroom work and was polite, easy to work with and took the job seriously. We will be using the team again for any additional works that maybe needed!

Redecorated 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living area and garden patio. Indoor work consisted of limewash painted walls, installation of wooden shelves and bedside wall lamps, marble splashback and worktop and limewash painted kitchen cabinets. Outdoor work consisted of new porcelain tile floor and installation of garden lighting in the floor and garden bed.
JP Refurbishment had several members specialising in different workstreams and was always contactable daily. Very friendly and honest, such that I felt safe leaving my house keys with them during the duration of the works (5 months).

We had lots done: the kitchen, bathroom, mould and damp removal, new bathrooms, wall knocked down, new windows, new floors, shelves handmade, painting walls, wardrobes built, garden re done. JP Refurbishment completely redesigned my house and garden.
From decorating to installing a complete new family bathroom.
Laid floor, install new lamps and switches. Plumbing works for the downstairs bathroom.
Painted the whole house inside and outside.
Helped me to design my utility room and maximise storage space.
Fencing and lighting in the garden. Laid out the astroturf and built the patio area.

When asking for a quote name all the works you need, even the tiny ones so it can be done all in one go and included in the quote.

Jorge and his team started working at my house about 4 years ago. Whenever I have some jobs at home, he is the first one that comes to my mind. He has done various works at my place, from small things like fixing a door hinge, cleaning the gutter, to repainting and fixing the window seals from outside, replacing the shed doors, or re-tiling the bathroom. Jorge is smart, he has great idea on how to fix tricky issues. Nothing is too difficult for him.

Jorge is also very kind and very pleasant to work with. Whenever I find there is some lingering issues with the work his team did, he never hesitates to come back to rectify the problem. He is honest and trustworthy.

Would say 4.5 star as we had delays on our project and still some snagging but the complications were mostly not JP Refurbishment’s fault but suppliers!

Jorge and team very helpful and hardworking. I have employed them on two occasions - for a series of indoor insulating and refurbishing projects and for external reinforcement of supporting brickwork, repointing and painting.
Work was swift and well done with a smile.
