I ordered a high-end laptop with 64GB RAM (Order #2250). Juno sent a unit with only 32GB RAM. A clear lack of conformity.

I returned it due to their error. While they refunded the laptop price, they refused to reimburse the €69.02 in direct damages caused by their mistake: €50.87 in banking fees and €18.15 in FedEx administrative charges for the import handling.

Crucially, regarding the €393.68 I paid in Customs/VAT: Juno does not refund this. Even though it is a Non-Conformity case caused by them, I am forced to personally process the tax refund with the Spanish Tax Authority to get my money back. They wash their hands of it.

Summary: If they send you the wrong product, YOU pay the banking/admin fees and YOU do the bureaucratic work with the Tax Office. Unacceptable.

Thank you for finally replying here, as you stopped answering my emails regarding these costs.

1. "Loose RAM" admission: By admitting the RAM was loose, you confirm the product arrived Non-Conforming (Defective). As a customer buying a brand-new "Pro" device, I am under no obligation to open the chassis and perform hardware repairs myself. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, I exercised my "Short-term right to reject" faulty goods.

2. Distortion of facts regarding fees:
Customs: I am NOT asking you for the VAT/Tax (I am already reclaiming that from the Spanish Tax Authority myself). I am claiming the €18.15 FedEx Administrative Fee. This is a service charge caused solely by your shipment, not a government tax.

Bank Fees: The €50.87 in fees are a direct financial loss caused by your breach of contract.

Conclusion: You sent a faulty unit. I returned it. The law states the remedy must be without cost to the consumer. I am still out of pocket €69.02 due to your error. Please process the payment and close this matter.

For anyone in the market for a Linux computer, can't recommend Juno Computers highly enough. Purchased a Jupiter Pro laptop from them in 2021. Fast-forward to a few weeks ago & they helped bring my 4.5 year old machine back to life after it wouldn't boot up properly.

Juno did this without charging money or trying to upsell & even located a new battery when their supplier was too expensive. With so much dishonestly & companies not standing behind products, it was wonderful to receive service like this.

I purchased a Tab 2 with Mobian and am super satisfied. Exactly what I wanted! Had afew minor technical issues and contacted Gio and resolved it right on the spot.

On Unpacking the laptop, not a single piece of paper re Specifications, O/S...NOTHING!...just a laptop in a box.
When powering on for first time install NOTHING except a "BULK O/S INSTALLATION" Program.
First he tried to blame me, saying they do not use this program..then asked me hack into the BIOS to try fix the installation
I had to inform him that would VOID My warranty!
was asked to return it at MY expense from Australia.
Paid Au$300 customs Tax NON refundable plus on top the cost of courier from UK to Oz Over AU$500 LOST!! no offer of compo.
The Laptop was lost by UK post.. if it was not insured would have lost everything.

Had no idea that JUNO was operating from a BLOCK OF FLATS with washing hanging outside!

I bought a New DELL Latitude 5530 with 16 Ram with one extra slot for another 16 Ram. ( can go up to 64 )

Dells website lists DELL Latitude 5530 compatible with the latest UBUNTU this includes 2 yrs warranty also around 5yrs support
I bought Linux O/S on Flash from the Online auction site even with simple instructions....it took only a few minutes.....Its Perfect !!!
Never again including all the money lost and stress!

My advice stick with a top brand Laptop Co like Dell

Juno Computer has the most the reliable linux computers on the market hands down. Why would one buy anything else when they can get the same functionality for the fraction of the cost here!

Extremely happy with all three of my transactions (so far) with them. We're a family of experienced Linux users (I go all the way back to Yggdrasil), and my son did his research for Linux-first systems. We bought a Neptune for him from Juno over a year ago, who built and shipped it promptly. System worked great out of the box. Never a problem, with prompt and knowledgeable answers to my non-urgent nerd questions via email.

When it was time for another purchase for my wife to replace her work laptop. got her a Juno Gemini, also delivered as promised and no issues re-configuring it as dual-boot (she needs Windows for one task for work).

Finally, I recently got myself an Olympia desktop which arrived promptly and works flawlessly. Mine also runs any of several VMs without issue.

As long as Juno keeps delivering this caliber Linux-based products, I have no need to look for another vendor, and would recommend them to any Linux-savvy user (they DO NOT come loaded with Windows, though the Gemini runs Windows 10 as well just fine both in the base and as a VM).

Top class, I bought a laptop from these guys as a newbie to Linux, the owner was very nice and patient providing advice and answering all my questions.

Great experience, very happy with my new machibe.

Ordered and paid for on June 11th 2023; over 3500 pounds, inquired ten days after, told they were going to build the machine "this week", the week is up, no news. Going for a refund via PayPal. They just keep the money, turn it over and no one the wiser. Crooks.
Update: got my money back along with a flimsy excuse. (Not overwhelmed). Thank you, Trust Pilot. But, judging by the reviews, something happened to this enterprise back in 2022. Good day, everybody.

Company sounds good, prices looked good, order processed quickly. Unfortunately they ship with UPS (possibly the worst shipping company I have ever dealt and the order was lost). Would only consider re-ordering with them if they stop using UPS.

I had a Juno Jupiter computer for exactly one year when it died just as the warranty ran out. It won't even boot anymore. One minute I was looking at the weather, I got up and walked away for a minute, and when I came back the screen was black and the machine won't even boot anymore.

I've been using the 17 inch Neptune V3 everyday for about a week now and my feelings are mixed. I love the spec, Core i7 11800h, 64GBs of RAM, two 2TB NVMe drives, RTX 3080 and a 144hz 17 inch screen. Overall performance during light tasks has been good. But this has some caveats which I'll get into later.

The good things are really good. I knew Ubuntu wouldn't have as robust a software library as Windows. It's not even close, but there are some cool applications available. I'm still not a fan of the over reliance on a command line but I understand why others do. Some basic options and features can be hard to find at times or placed in awkward places, but Ubuntu grew on me pretty fast. The spec allows the UI to flow pretty smoothly and it comes together pretty slick once you know where things are.

The first two negatives I noticed are pretty bad though. The keyboard has a serious problem in not always registering key presses at random times. I'm guessing this is a specific hardware issue as I can't seem to find anyone else that's having this problem in Ubuntu specifically. I'm trying to type this review on the Neptune now and it's taking longer than it should because of the keyboard issues.

The other problem is the battery life. It's horrid. Absolutely abysmal. With the spec and the screen, I was hoping to get at least 2 of battery life on average with light tasks. I'm lucky if the Neptune V3 can last an hour. I've literally sat and watched in amazement as the battery drains really quickly right in front of me, in minutes. In other words, good luck using the Neptune V3 as a road warrior away from an outlet. It absolutely will not last.

The heat dissipation is okay, but it can be jarring when the temperature goes from 50 degrees to 90 or 100 in a couple of seconds causing the fan to scream in protest. Compiling Vulkan Shaders before playing a Steam game causes this without fail and the heat build up was so fast and so drastic it caused the Neptune to auto shut down after 20 or 30 seconds of this. I disabled the function in Steam as a result. This also occurred while video editing as well, when certain transitions are applied with 4K video clips. This aspect was really disappointment because I have a Surface Laptop Studio with a RTX 3050/Core i7 version and the cooling solution provided seems to be much better.

Gaming was good but for people looking to capture gameplay, this is not the machine I would do it with. The Neptune can run most games I tried while recording just fine but struggled when playing back gameplay video, exhibiting constant frame rate loss and constant stutter and skipping. I've tried different recorders, various settings...nothing works. Yes, the Neptune V3 ran games like Monster Hunter: World and Warframe beautifully at 144FPS as well as other titles I've tried, but capturing those experiences with smooth playback, forget about it. I even tried to run games at lower settings to clear up some overhead, nada.

The Neptune V3 has potential. The spec is impressive, Ubuntu runs well overall under that spec but the device is hamstrung by some heat related issues, terrible battery life and the keyboard issues.

I bought a Neptune 15" over 1 year ago and it's been a really great and solid Ubuntu Linux laptop.

The support provided by Juno Computers has also been 5 star.

If you have an issue, they answer emails and calls immediately. They know about Linux inside out - they write all the drivers for the hardware and are frequently updating them, ensuring everything works with the latest kernels.

One time I ran into a major issue - Phoned them 9 am in the morning, they answered straight-away, analysing the issue with me over the phone. I then travelled down to London to see them directly and they fixed it, same day with no notice then gave me tips and good advice over coffee.

If you want a solid Linux Laptop that just works, with great technical support, then Juno Computers is for you.

Juno Nyx 15 v1 - i5 16GB Ram 500GB NVME Ubuntu 20.04 LTS

I've had this laptop for several months now and am absolutely delighted with it, all my previous have been Windows machines that I installed Ubuntu on, so it's great to finally have one that's made for Linux.
Excellent matt HD display with narrow bezels, positive but quiet keyboard action, nice keyboard back lighting with easy control, robust alloy body in a sort of machine grey colour, large touch pad with just the right sensitivity, lots of ports including USB C and USB 3, battery life is great and some good Juno specific features like fan control and battery life protection.
There is a great choice of specification on the Juno Computers website, prices are very competitive and delivery is quick.

Purchased a Laptop Neptune 17" v2 a couple of months ago for Crown Hosting Services. Happy with the product and service. Juno Computers keep the drivers for keyboard and Nvidia cards etc updated regularly. Would recommend.

I purchased the Nyx 15" v1 (Intel i7-10510U processor), and it is superb. Fast, battery lasts for many hours, screen is fantastic, design is fantastic. Faultless in my opinion. Great service, and fast delivery time. Highly recommended.

bought the top spec Gemini for a developer laptop and it is GREAT. Looks nice, feels nice, easy to use, good battery, nice display. Plus the staff were really helpful when I had to get a new power adapter after losing my original one.

The overall experience was as good as you could wish for.

This was my first foray into the world of Linux so I peppered Giovanni with questions both prior to and after the sale, and he dealt with my ignorance admirably.

The laptop arrived within days of payment, and the tracking info let me know what was happening as things progressed.

The machine itself is pretty much perfect. It feels solid, the keyboard is responsive and well weighted, and the display is clean and crisp even when watching full HD films.

I can't believe how much faster the 10th gen processor is in comparison to my old 7th gen. It's eating alive everything I've thrown at it so far.

I am now a convert.

Exactly what I expected. Very pleased with the machine. Extra star for supporting open source software.
