Kamapro isnt even a real company in Germany. Be careful when signing a contract with this distro. The contract looks like its from ChatGPT and there is no existing German company with the names they provide. I even asked them to provide details and the company number ,which they never did!

The way they work, is they act as a sub aggregator. They distribute through Danmark music. So your better of contacting them than Kamapro.

Erstmals wurde ich durch das Unternehmen kontaktiert und zur Zusammenarbeit eingeladen mit der Aussage, dass meine Musik gut zum Unternehmen passen würde und ich mich bei Interesse, zurückmelden soll.
Das tat ich zwar auch aber erhielt weder nach meiner ersten E-Mail und noch nach der erneuten Anfrage, irgendeine Antwort.
Auch auf das Ausfüllen des Bewerbungsformulars auf der Homepage des Unternehmens, erhielt ich keine Rückmeldung.

Nebenbei sollte ich erwähnen, dass ich als Musiker bei einem Major war und nicht bei einem unbekannten Vertrieb.

Aus diesen Gründen, kann ich die positiven Bewertungen der Nutzer über Lars J. und seine Kollegen nicht nachvollziehen.

I've been with Kamapro for nearly 8 months so far for my project Apeiron Bound. With full transparency, their connection to Sony Music's The Orchard was one of the major factors that led me to checking out Kamapro.

Over these last few months, Saskia and their founder Kai have gone above and beyond with us. They're always on top of the responses whenever my band or label would have questions or problems that would need solving. The transparency in royalty payments is refreshing.

Kamapro are one of the few good distros that don't see artists as pawns to be exploited. Hell, the fact that they don't take an upfront payment is a testament to that. Yes, they do take a small percentage of royalties (as is part of Orchard). Why is that important? Because it gives incentive to be more collaborative in the business side of things. Then there's the alternative with the more popular subscription based distros that only have an incentive to collect a yearly fee but with either nonexistent customer service or a lackluster partnership with email responses that look like they were typed up by corporate just to dismiss their clients.

Not to mention Kamapro go above and beyond music distribution as well as sync license pitching, creating landing pages for your release, running ads, and anything else you'll need as a developing artist.

If you're sick and tired of "distros" with nonexistent customer service, predatory business practices, hidden fees, and the "guilty before proven innocent" mentality, Kamapro is at your corner. Not to mention they're a great introduction to an ACTUAL industry leading music distribution company.

I have been a recently joining artist with KAMAPRO. I am quite happy with the team so far, and Kai was super-helpful getting on a detailed call with me, to explain the working of the platform interface, and even available and responsive as aand when needed on chat.
Lars & Saskia have been supportive through the weeks before onboarding me as well. :)

The label manager is always accessible, which is a huge plus, and they work diligently to resolve issues as quickly as possible. Payments are processed very promptly, which I truly appreciate. The only thing I’d wish for is a bit more autonomy in the back office—being able to set up collaboration splits and percentages myself without needing to reach out every time. It would also be great if collaborators could access their own data directly. Overall, though, a fantastic service with room for small improvements.

I'm with kamapro guys since almost an year at this point and some stuffs i can tell for sure are:
The support for releases and everything is lowkey the best i've ever had with any distribution service.
The payments are way higher than other distro that i won't name, and they're always able to solve my problems and fix my errors in less than 1 day.
I strictly suggest the service to all the people like me that loves to think about music and avoid all the formal stuffs since kamapro team is able to think about it.

It's actually very good, but the disappointing thing is... It's not widely distributed in the world, only in certain countries. Maybe the kamapro party should be ready to market their distribution service worldwide, To attract more attention from people all over the world.

I used a a lot services like ditto, distrokid, routenote, TuneCore, recordjet…. It took me years to find a good distributor but I did it!
Kamapro is by far the best!

I wait till i get paid to write this report, and ofc i get paid if this is what ppl asking lol. they’re really competent so far and they’re able to help u in several situations.
I knew them when some weirdo guy tried to steal one of my song, Kamapro support was able to suggest me, help me and find the solution for the problem.
