Unverschämte Mitarbeiter, allenfalls mittelmäßige Ware, und eine Konzernstruktur, die den Kunden ganz hintenan stellt. Man ist bei jedem anderen Bäcker in NRW besser bedient.

Gutscheine, die man nach einer Beschwerde über Filiale A erhält, nimmt Filiale B nicht an. Absolute Frechheit.

Es ist nichts schiefgegangen!Zum erstenmal nach lange Zeit hab ich wieder Brötchen von Kamps bei Rewe gekauft! Das ist das allerletzte. die sind noch keine 2 Cent wert! 7.30 uhr nach hause gefahren und die Brötchen bröseln schon auseinander. Beim Aufschneiden lag die Hälfte schon in der Spüle! Abartig. Da sind die Brötchen vom Lidl oder Aldi noch besser!

Gehe öfters in Bilker Arkaden in Düsseldorf mit meiner Frau zu Kamps Bäckerei Kaffee und Backware kaufen. Leider heute bin sehr enttäuscht gewesen bei
2x Kaffee Crema Kauf. Erster Blick
auf Kaffee war schon mir klar und nach ersten Schlugen habe gedacht, das ist Tee und nicht Kaffee Crema. Wenn ich das bei Theken sofort reklamieren, hat mir Verkäuferin und Kollege gesagt haben: Heute war die Maschine umgestellt, ich kann ihnen neu machen - das ich habe nicht genommen und auch kein Angebot Geld zurück. Mit 2x 3,19€ bin von KAMPS Backerei abgezockt und mein Vertrauen ist zu Kamps verloren - kaufe nichts in Zukunft bei dieser Backerei.
Leider muss dieser Bewertung in Internet noch mehrmals veröffentlich, Kaffee ist teuer geworden und noch die Abzocke, das passt mir nicht.

Die Backwaren werden immer teurer, aber die Qualität leider immer schlechter. Beim Franzbrötchen wird so an Zimt und Zucker gespart, dass man es kaum noch Franzbrötchen nennen kann. Das Mundgefühl ist nur teigig, ohne Geschmack

This review is about "Kamps Bäckerei mit Backstube" in the "Berlin Hauptbahnhof" train station.

Avoid this place. They submitted a false EU "defamation" complaint against a google review as a means to censor the unfavorable review!! (Forcing Google to remove the review and preventing my account from posting on their page ever again). That is just not acceptable in the slightest...

Want less 1-star reviews (they still have many...)? Then simply treat people with enough decency that we don't all immediately run to the reviews to warn others. Acting calmly towards your customers is a worryingly low bar to be asking for.

Original review they want to censor (July 27, 2023):
We were yelled at, while calmly packing up, because we had 1 container from another nearby business on the table (we bought many items from this place and these items were still clearly displayed on the table). That container was present because of dietary restrictions that this business could not accommodate for.

So, still yelling from behind the counter... of which we basically didn't understand a thing other than him waving his finger to the door and saying "exit" (we don't speak much german)... we were clearly being kicked out. There was no attempt at a conversion, or even a stern warning, or even politely asking us to leave, just an out of the blue "get out!!".

The family stood there dumbfounded at what was happening, but didn't attempt to argue and left since we felt extremely unsafe at this point (he was still yelling as were walking out the door).

Please note that we never spoke to or provoked this employee beforehand. Negative stars if I could..

Additional information since the original review:
I sent a message to their corporate email right after posting the review to report the worrying behavior of their employee at this location. This was their reply:
"The consumption of third-party products is of course not permitted in our locations, even if our products are also purchased. However, we regret very much how this was conveyed. I will immediately pass your concern on to the area management and hope that the situation will improve through training and discussions." (Jul 28, 2023)
Had this been the original interaction, there would be no 1 star review here today. We may have even had the time to explain that the dietary restrictions were the reason for this violation of policy. Words matter.

Then, a year and a half later (Jan 10, 2025), I receive an email notification from Google informing me that this business forcibly removed the review by filing a defamation complaint, even though they originally apologized at the time?.. Nope, not ok. Your history exists and should not be erased. Who knows, maybe they fired the employee and are now trying to clean up their tainted reputation? If so, just let me know by email that "the problem was addressed" (you clearly have my email), and I would have updated the review and possibly upgraded the star ratings to 3-4 for taking real action. However, given the way they attempted to delete the review, I doubt that they've changed much at all.

At the time when the review was posted, they were sitting at around 2.x stars on Google (I remember this because of how few places manage to get such a low rating unless it's a scam). They've coincidentally now upgraded all the way to 3.5 stars on Google but I doubt that removing my review alone changed the rating by that much. You can probably guess what is happening here...

Ich kam am Ende des Tages vorbei. Sie servierten mir eine ungenießbare trockene Brezel mit geschmacklosem Kaffee, der wie Wasser aussah. Ich bitte die Dame, meinen Kaffee zu wechseln, aber sie lehnt ab! Wir müssen konforme Produkte verkaufen! Wenn Kunden Sie bitten, den Kaffee zu wechseln, hat das seinen Grund! Der Kundenservice antwortet nicht auf E-Mails. Es ist wirklich beschämend!

Seit Jahren bin ich Kunde bei der Bäckerei Kamps in St. Augustin im Huma Markt. So betellte ich auch heute den 26.07.24 gegen 15:15 Uhr wieder etwas dort. Schon lange bin ich dort von zwei Mitarbeitern, ein Herr und eine Dame, relativ unfreundlich bedient worden, nun möchte ich mich beschweren weil es jetzt wirklich reicht. Heute bin ich von einem recht korpulenten dunkelhaarigen Herrn "bedient" worden welcher standartmäßig dort vertreten ist. Ich wollte ein belegten Brötchen ohne Butter mit Käse haben, da sagte dieser Mitarbeiter, (welcher sich dort als der zweite Ansprechparter der Filiale ausgab), er hätte es vor einiger Zeit bereits schon gesagt er würde keine Brötchen belegen und das in einem hochmütigen herablassenden Ton obwohl in der Vergangenheit von anderen Kollegen/innen immer Brötchen auf Wunsch belegt wurden. Ich erwiederte dies und erwähnte dass sein Verhalten auch nicht gerade kundenfreundlich so. Schnippisch erwiederte dieser Mensch ich müsse ja dort nicht mehr kaufen wenn mir das nicht passen würde, dann solle ich woanders hingehen. Dieser "Herr" scheint sowieso eine Aversion gegen mich zu haben, ich wüsste allerdings nicht was ich ihm getan haben soll. Auch eine Mitarbeiterin, dunkelhaarig, meist mit Zopf, was wohl lt. Aussage des unfreundlichen Herrn die Filialleiterin oder erste Ansprechpartnerin sein soll ist auch seit geraumer Zeit relativ unfreundlich zur mir, schnippisch und anmaßend als wenn der Kunde nichts zu sagen hätte und die Klappe halten soll. Alle anderen Mitarbeiter sind freundlich und zuvorkommend und neutral, nur diese Beiden eben nicht. Sowas ist ja nicht zu fassen, ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit....

Die Backwaren sind immer lecker. Empfehlenswert.
