I purchased a set of Knives plus a Sharpening Steel and a gift for a friend total spend £470.29, after very little response from Kanzen, i did not feel comfortable with my purchase, so i cancelled my order within seven days of my order. The response from Kanzen, was you cannot get a refund, i did write to Kanzen giving them a week to reconsider their position before i write a review, and take this formally through the correct channels.

Second set purchased as a gift for my…
Second set purchased as a gift for my son. My first set works well and sharpens up well also. Treat them with some respect and will last for years.
This set arrived a lot quicker than the first, so delivery was good this time.
The $5 off total waste of time to apply for it.
Buying a second set says it all.

Very good knives for the average home…
Very good knives for the average home kitchen chef, however some that arrived were not sharp at all. My chef daughter will sharpen those ones for me. But for the price, they're a really good set of knives. Next time, I buy the Damscus ones like she has!

I'm sorry to hear about the additional cost of customs.
We are currently working on a way to reduce or eliminate this in future orders so that our customers can enjoy completely free shipping worldwide.
In the meantime, we recommend contacting us before ordering if there is any chance that you'll need clearance through customs and we will try to work out a solution with you at the time of purchase.
