What a fantastic workshop. We were thrilled to have Jennifer work with our school. All the children and staff thoroughly enjoyed working with Jennifer. The children were focused, listened and worked as a team to create some fantastic sculptures that together made a fantastic exhibition for the parents to be mesmerised by. We would definitely have Jennifer back again. Thank you for a truly wonderful experience that is still being talked about.

Great second time doing the workshop and the children really enjoyed it.

Jennifer visited our school last week and ran a whole day workshops with pupils from P1 up to P7. The day was well planned and organised and allowed pupils to develop their STEM skills, as well as team work, listening and creativity. Jennifer was excellent with the pupils and supported and challenged them, as required. Her instructions were clear and resulted in our whole school build being extremely detailed. What a sight it was at the end of the build.

Almost all pupils participated in the workshops and worked together to build and construct a wonderful design. They particularly enjoyed the walk around of the finished build and then the demolition.

Thank you, Jennifer for a wonderful experience for our pupils. I would highly recommend this experience and hope to book again for the future.

Great whole school STEM experience. Children loved making and seeing the amazing finished construction. Each year group had an appropriately pitched challenge and were taken through it step by step. Lots of quiet and focused pupils. They particularly enjoyed the demolition at the end!

Jennifer communicated well before the visit. She was great on the day, punctual, friendly, brilliant with the children. The event itself was engaging and accessible by all children, they were so proud of their builds and enjoyed the demolition too! I think it was great value for money and can't wait to invite Jennifer back.

The Kapla workshop was fun, engaging and well delivered, with a knowledgeable, well organised leader who communicated clearly, inspiring creativity, teamwork and confidence while keeping children motivated throughout the sessions.

The experience was great. Pre organisation was little hit and mis with the date being changed a few times.

Jennifer had 200 pupils come through the workshop over the course of the day. Each pupil was totally engaged with their section of the model and were very proud of what they achieved. In addition the workshops taught the invaluable lessons of listening to instructions, teamwork, perseverance all while improving fine motor skills - all without the pupils really being aware that they were learning.

The workshop was highly engaging and enabled all children from Nursery to Year 6 to participate with a sense of awe and wonder.

The KAPLA workshops were amazingly creative, imanigative and awe-inspiring. We took great pleasure in creating a range of constructions that were possible due to the intriguing ratio of the planks. Sincere thanks for an enriching day!

Well run, great STEM workshop

The Kapla workshops were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The sessions brought a wonderful sense of calm, focus and teamwork to the whole school, with every child fully engaged — from our very youngest in Nursery right through to Year 6. Jennifer, who led the workshops, was consistently calm, patient and reassuring with the children, setting clear rules and expectations that helped everyone feel confident and ready to take part.

It was a joy to watch the children collaborate so naturally, supporting one another as they worked towards a shared goal. The Christmas-themed builds added a magical seasonal touch, and the awe on the children’s faces as the structures grew was something truly special. Year 6 were so inspired they even came back at break and lunchtime to carry on building — a real testament to how motivating and enjoyable the experience was.

The workshops created a brilliant opportunity for the entire school community to work on one creative project together, strengthening teamwork, problem-solving and imagination in such a mindful, hands-on way. A memorable, enriching experience for everyone involved — we can’t wait to welcome Kapla back!

The children had a brilliant time. It was great to see their teamwork and perseverance skills put to the test. Adults involved were blown away with the scale of the project and clear instructions given to the children too.

What a unique experience for our children. The whole school took part in a Kapla Clubs day, taking turns in their year groups to build part of the scene. Under Jennifer's watchful eye and precise instruction, they were able to construct an engineering masterpiece. It was fun building it, incredible to see the finished article, and awesome to be part of the "deconstruction!"
