I sent the garment to Karl LAGERFELD Paris and I was told by Affirm to pay the account out which I did and then could get my refund. It has been 6 months and I still have not received a refund. Affirm acknowledged that the they received the money and KARL LAGERFELD Paris acknowledged they received the garmentâŠ.. however I as the customer have gotten nothing as promised at least 5 times.

If I could score 0 stars I would. Sadly, not referring to the clothes! I have now ordered 2x. BOTH times, I ended up writing an email to customer service asking where my order was, because it isn't shipped out for a VERY LONG TIME. For a luxury brand, I would expect to be treated better. I imagine someone there is thinking they are doing me a favor by letting me wear their clothes! The first time I was polite, the second I realized I was not the issue, they were. I never even received a response from customer service, simply a tracking email acknowledging shipment. So they HAD the product(s)....they just chose to provide no customer service until prodded to do so. I feel so turned off by this experience and will not be ordering from them again-which is sad because what I received I like. Someone in their shipping dept needs to get fired, they've lost someone who would have spent a significant amount of money purchasing their clothes in the future.

-Replies often arrived late at night, raising concerns about AI-generated responses.
-No confirmation that a qualified leather expert ever reviewed the case.
For a brand like Karl Lagerfeld, I expected professional support and accountability. Instead, I experienced a process marked by automation, deflection, and lack of ownership.

I accidentally placed a duplicate order due to a glitch on the Karl Lagerfeld Paris website and contacted customer service within 5 minutes. They refused to cancel the order and told me to return it, promising to waive the $6 return fee. I followed all instructions, but they still shorted me $15 on the refund.
Worst customer service Iâve experienced, other brands handle situations like this much better.
They Sent Me a Handbag With the Security Tag Still On!
I ordered a handbag directly from the Karl Lagerfeld website as a birthday gift for a friend who personally selected it. When it arrived, the security tag was still attached, making it completely unusable.
I contacted customer service multiple times and explained that Iâm leaving the country soon and canât return the item. Unfortunately, their response was cold and unhelpful. They kept repeating only two options:
1. Drive to the nearest Karl Lagerfeld store â which is an hour away, costing me about $150 in transportation, or
2. Ship the item back â which I clearly explained I cannot do, as the gift must travel with me.
I asked for an alternative, like sending me a tool to remove the tag (which, ironically, you can find on Amazon for a few dollars). They refused. No flexibility. No concern for the customer experience.
They promised I would get a call from corporate â that never happened. No follow-up, no email, no support. Iâm now left with a gift I canât use, just days before I leave the country. This situation has been both frustrating and embarrassing.
As a loyal customer, I expected much more from a luxury brand. Sadly, Karl Lagerfeldâs customer service has shown me they only care about the sale, not the people who trust them. Iâll never order from their website again, and I donât recommend anyone else does either.

Ordered 3 shirts and a cardigan. I only received the 3 shirts in 2 orders. The 2nd delivered was tagged as my cardigan but it was the 3rd shirt. I emailed same day, then followed up on that same email a week later with zero acknowledgment of existence. I even called and was told to email. Extremely disappointed as I was hoping for this to become a go to brand for clothing.
Update: after 2 follow up I was refunded for my missing item.

Long story short, unethical and poor customer service brand. Purposely placed order >$99 for free shipping but they cancelled 1 of the item in my order and mark order as fulfilled. After I call and send them pictures of what I received, I received refund which is less than what I paid for. Even rep cannot give me a logical explanation just quoting it was due to tax (as far as I understand, tax rates don't fluctuate). When I finally get to place another order of the same item without paying for shipping fees, the amount they collect was not what I received from the refund. Spoke to 4 CS reps and they all say different things. And one of the rep even said I need to pay shipping fees for a replacement because refund has been made. After being a fan and advocate for the brand, this terrible experience will probably make me stop buying from this company.
