当該企業による記述
Karpadu is a car rental platform born in Greece - Athens, Crete, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, Corfu, Mykonos, Zakynthos and beyond - and now also operating across the Balkans, the Mediterranean and a growing number of countries. We connect travelers with trusted local rental companies, combining the convenience of online booking with the reliability of established local operators. What makes us different: Most car rental brokers require a credit card and a large security deposit blocked on your account for the entire trip. Karpadu offers a genuine alternative. On selected bookings, you can rent with zero deposit and no credit card required - paying by debit card or cash on arrival. Our insurance is real, direct coverage from the rental company itself, not a pay-and-claim reimbursement policy that leaves you out of pocket first. How it works: Browse available cars, select your pickup location - airport, port, city centre or hotel - choose your insurance tier, and pay your booking fee online. The remaining balance goes directly to the rental partner at pickup. No hidden fees, no surprises. Who we serve: Travelers from all over the world who want flexibility, transparency and genuine peace of mind when exploring a destination by car. With hundreds of five-star reviews from real customers, Karpadu has become a trusted choice for independent travelers who want to explore on their own terms.

I used Karpadu to rent a car in Chania
I used Karpadu to rent a car in Chania, Crete. I feel like the car I got wasn’t really worth the money I paid for it but it did the job. The one thing I wasn’t too happy about were the instructions - they listed two companies to look for when in the end it was a different one I had to find which I found when I calles the number that was given. Apart from that, checking in and out was very fast and smooth so at least there was that.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. We're sorry the pickup instructions pointed you toward the wrong company - that's a real gap in accuracy that shouldn't happen, and we're looking into how that mix-up occurred. We're glad the actual pickup and return went quickly once things were sorted, though we understand that doesn't fully make up for feeling the price didn't quite match the car. If you'd like to share your booking reference, we're happy to dig into this further.
Best car rental experience
Best car rental experience ever in Crete! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I rented from Kapardu and got a super clean Kia Picanto - perfect, efficient and spotless. They picked me up directly from the airport, pick-up was super easy and fast, no hassle at all. The staff was incredibly friendly and very responsive on WhatsApp, everything was clear and professional. Honest, reliable, and great value. If you need a car in Crete, I would recommend Kapardu anytime! Thank you for making our Crete experience so exceptional!

We are arrived at the airport with one hour delay, because the flight was delayed, . The driver of the van who came to pick us up , asked us for €60 to drop us to pick our car up. Although on our email they never mentioned that we have to pay, on the booking was mentioned free transfer from the airport to our car. The driver was rude he said to husband if he doesn’t pay the €60 he will not drop to pick the car up , and of course we had to agree because after 23:00 o clock with two young kids we had no choice.

Thank you for sharing this experience with us, and we sincerely apologise for what happened.
This is not something we were aware of, and it does not reflect the transparency we aim to offer at every step of the booking process. We take service quality and partner accountability very seriously, and your feedback is extremely valuable in helping us catch and correct issues like this.
We are reaching out to our partner directly to understand exactly what happened and why this was not handled as it should have been, and we will then contact you via email to resolve this matter.
Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.
Update: After reviewing this with our partner, we can confirm the total amount you paid matches exactly what was quoted and agreed before your trip - there was no overcharge. The airport transfer itself was free, as stated in your booking. The €60 collected at pickup was the late/out-of-hours arrival fee, which was already included in your total price - it should never have been presented as a charge for the transfer. That mislabeling, combined with how it was demanded, is not acceptable, especially at that hour with your children present. We're addressing this directly with our partner to make sure any amount due at pickup is explained clearly and correctly, with nothing presented as a surprise.
