Experience wearing your shoes in urban conditions and on hikes

I never received the goods. The delivery company mistakenly left the parcel outside my neighbour's house and sent me photographic evidence of that delivery. It was stolen from outside my neighbour's house. When I complained to Evri and Karrimor and sent them the photo from Evri of where the delivery company had left the parcel, they refused to refund me. They state the parcel was properly delivered. They have given no reason as to why a parcel delivered to outside the wrong address is properly delivered. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE.

It's a shame that my £119 backpack was marked at £59. It's a shame that the elastic cord was frayed. I thought, buy it direct from Karrimor. Show some loyalty; I've bought Karrimor for years. I'm not impressed by the cost saving measures they've made by ridding external pockets of zips. The point is, travellers want to feel that their stuff is secure in the pockets. The pockets are now flaps. I'll start to look around at other backpacks now.

I am an avid hiker and when the time came to buy new boots, I went with karrimor as my first ever hiking boots were this brand, had lasted over 5 years and felt that they had been better than any of tried on between. Unfortunately the quality seems to have done downhill. On the first use, the lace clasp at the top broke so I couldn't lace them up fully. On the 4th wear, while climbing a mountain, they fell apart. The sole completely came away from the shoe. Luckily it wasn't a very high or difficult mountain as this could have caused serious problems or injury. Due to the winter months and surgery I did have the boots a few months before using them and I was less than 48 hours outside the 12 month period but they was told they can do nothing. Hiking boots should last longer than 12 months anyway, never mind the fact that I only wore them 3 times with this happening on the 4th. I will never buy this brand again as my safety when climbing matters. Other companies give longer warranties, on guarantee for life so clearly stand by their products. Karrimor cannot do that as they are poor quality. I do have photos showing this but unable to attach them here. I do not recommend especially if you value your safety. Also, they were not cheap. They told me to contact the manufacturer (is that not them?) and when I asked who the manufacturer was they said they can't tell me because the warranty is up so they don't need to help.

I have now received my karrimor order from EVRI and I am extremely disappointed in the presentation and the quality of the sandals. Now part of Sports direct so should not be surprised.

Good clothes, great prices, rubbish website

Karrimor black walking boots.Bought these boots 10 months ago, for walking the dog,now boots stating to leak,front toe guard is starting to peel off,sole is starting to separate from the uppers,cuts through laces already bought 2 pairs. Would not recommend these at all very poor quality.

I still haven’t received my parcel!!! I do not blame Karrimor but Everi has been appalling. I waited in on Monday for my parcel, had a delivery slot and nobody turned up. Then I had a message saying it would be delivered on the next day instead. I waited in on Tuesday and had a delivery slot. No delivery. At the moment I now have a message it should soon be with the driver who will give me a delivery slot. No time has been set yet so today has gone too. This was supposed to be a birthday present and will now be too late. I will have to buy something else. Perhaps I’ll receive my parcel a week late. Totally waste of time. Please do not use Evri again

Karrimor no longer exist as they are owned by Fraser Group who own Sports Direct. Before I knew this I bought a pair of Karrimor walking boots. Got wet in the rain and the dye came off on my feet. Now I have blue feet. Karrimor brand is officially substandard . Stay away from the cheap rubbish.

The quality of their boots went down hill dramatically over the years. Leather detaching from the sole after one or two uses ( children boots BTW) I used ti have a adult pair lasting me 5 years in the 2000s. Now they quality is a lottery.

Low price and low quality to match.

Ever since Mike Ashley got his hands on the brand so he could trade on the name the quality has been in a downward spiral towards the lowest price and nothing else. I've got a really old (pre Mike "Max profit" Ashley) GoreTex Karrimor jacket and its still excellent and some 6 to 8 year old kit and its ok.

However I've been looking are the current clothing and buying their trail running shoes for the kids recently and they're truly awful - the last pair are so badly made they have a sharp edge in both heel cups that sliced his heels in minutes. To make it worse the brain dead staff in Sports Direct were as much use as a chocolate tea pot!

Work on the assumption Mike Ashley and Sports Direct are the kiss of death to a brand and you'll be fine, use once (if you can even get that far) and throw away is their mantra!

I used to be their customer, but now don't. They’re just blocking my country’s IP. And I’m not even from russia or North Korea.

Purchase shoe just 1 month its damaged

I bought two pairs of Karrimor Mount Waterproof Walking Shoes from Sports Direct.
Both pairs failed in under four months of normal daily use (soles worn through and leaking).

Sports Direct confirmed that because they are over 90 days old, this is now a manufacturer issue and must be handled by Karrimor.

Karrimor customer service repeatedly refused to take responsibility for their own product and kept sending me back to the store, even after I explained the store cannot assist. I have provided photos and proof of purchase, but Karrimor will not escalate or address the manufacturing defect.

Very disappointed with the lack of accountability for a clear product fault.

I ordered a pair of sandals from the .com site. I live in Greece. The offer on the Greek site when I checked it showed 50% off the sandals I wanted. I tried to cancel, but there is no ability to do so. It told me to wait until the item was delivered, then return it (it wanted £30 for return delivery) on top of the 100% price I'd paid £64.98. To add insult to injury the box for the sandals showed the price reduced to £21.99. So, I should never have been charged the original price and am unable to make proper contact with anyone in SportsDirect/Karrimore or Wareshop2. I'm going to complain to the distance selling ombudsman if they don't sort something out pronto.

Really great quality walking shoes that are always deliveredquickly.

I recently bought 2 pairs of walking boots, different styles and had to take them back within a week of very light use.

In one boot, the stitching broke and a panel started to come away and in the other, the glue failed after less then 2 miles of walking and again, a panel started to fail.

I wouldn’t recommend.

Clearly my item was in short supply... but to have the audacity to leave on the SportsDirect price of £4.99 when you had charged me £17 was so sad and shocking.

If you want waterproof boots dont buy Karrimor X. Feet wet after walking on grass a few inches high. Black dye all over my fingers after touching. Absolute garbage! Will not buy this brand again.
