Absolutely dreadful returns experience. Do not use!

Item arrived, it was unsuitable and looked like it'd been kicked around the warehouse floor before being sent out. The returns process is painful and it now appears that my return has vanished off the face of the planet. I have no item and no refund and will not be back to buy from this company.

I wanted to invest in well made, lasting and warm puffer jacket (mindful of fast fashion) and spent my time researching different brands and customer reviews, before deciding on Kathmandu. The jacket arrived - nice and light weight, but definitely not as warm as I hoped. Nevermind I thought - great for that inbetween stage before I need my heavy winter coat. After wearing for 3 months (ie last autumn and a couple of weeks this autumn). the pocket stitching came undone.

At first Customer Service decline any assistance. But Kathmandu have now said (after a bit of pestering) that they will pay to have the coat fixed (I would have had it fixed anyway, as I regard this to be my responsibility too), so am glad that they are (finally) going some way to rectify the problem.

Please hold the manufacturers of your clothing to account and maybe overall quality will improve again.

Hi I have a very bad experience whit Kathmandu customer service.
I buy something 250 pounds from Kathmandu UK and the send whit DPD to my address and DPD driver leave the package front off my house nobody received. When I come home I’m not find the package. Now the DPD tell my only the sender can claim the money back from them and Kathmandu don’t want to do . Now I’m lost 250 pounds because they don’t have customer service in UK.
Check better before bay from them . 👎👎👎

Have no idea how their products are because their chosen shipment company is notoriously bad and the backpack didn't arrive during the shipment window (3-5 working days). Since by the 6th working day the backpack was still in London, Kathmandu promised to contact the shipping company and ask them to cancel the shipment. Big was my surprise when I discovered days later they had not done it and the backpack is on its way to a location I have no way of receiving it anymore.

I used to love Kathmandu NZ brand, but I just purchased a puffer jacket (Epic duvet), and it's loosing feathers everywhere on my sweater underneath... There are also feathers coming out the stitches in the back. Poor quality compared to few years ago! So disappointed! Would not repurchase. For 260€ I am upset, I could have buy 2 puffer jackets from Uniqlo that are half the price and twice better quality!

I bought a waterproof jacket and walking trousers for a 2 week walking holiday across europe. Really happy with them, no problems whatsoever.

I bought the Heli down jacket recently and it's great. I mainly use it for walking the hills with the dog/family. It's really light weight but warm great for the cold mornings

As a loyal customer for the past 15 years, I have to say that I am very disappointed that Kathmandu recommends the scam travel insurance company World Nomads. I was scammed following your recommendation.

Most of my outdoor equipment are from Kathmandu which I bought in NZ and also in the UK during my big OE. Unfortunately, some of these items were stolen in Barcelona on 6 Jan 2020. Filed claim with World Nomads and they turned out to be a scam.

An absolute shame that my favourite outdoor goods company recommended scam travel insurance. Kathmandu should do some research before putting your name on the line - read the customer reviews on World Nomads (most of the good reviews are made by people who did not have to make a claim).

I purchased a duck down coat. The transaction was smooth, the quality of the coat was good and I’d buy from there again. It was also a quick delivery.

The customer service team were quick to reply to my email query.

I was nervous about the negative reviews, but didn’t experience anything negative myself.
