Love these knifes amazing quality for professionals I’m now heavily invested in the Katto brand and will be making some more purchases for me the weight of the knife is perfect and lifetime sharpening for free epic.

I spent £200+ on a knife and chopping board from this company. I was also planning to purchase a second knife but after my first experience of using the knife and chopping board I’ve changed my mind. The chopping board costs £100, I’ve used it once so far with the knife I purchased from them and the wood has split on one side. I was so gutted seeing this as it wasn’t cheap! I am actually so disappointed at the poor quality of the item. The knife is okay but some of the design on the knife has come off/faded after 1 use. I honestly was expecting amazing quality considering the price. Would not recommend!!

I love their knives and find their customer service really excellent. I used one of their knives for a few years from 2021 and when the handle came loose they promised to fix it but ended up replacing it with a brand new one. So many companies are not like this and I am hugely grateful. Would definitely recommend.

I purchased a Santoku knife some months ago and use it to carve various roasts. It is excellent. The slices are just as I would wish, and the knife seems to know where to go.
I have just bought a Carving Set which I am looking forward to using, I have no doubt that it will be as splendid as the other knife.

I was given a Katto chef's knife and absolutely loved it; not only did it look beautiful but it was incredibly sharp and a joy to use. Unfortunately - and unusually, I believe - there was a flaw (aesthetic rather than practical) so I contacted Katto to enquire about it.
I had a personal reply within 24 hours and after sending them a couple of photographs I was sent a replacement.
I've had problems once or twice with high quality items from other very well-known and respected brands who were extremely unhelpful so the quality of Katto's support was quite unexpected and very refreshing.
It's reassuring to know a company whose products you can have confidence in all the way through. Recommended.

I've brought a number of Katto's knives, the chef's knife, bread knife, boning knife and the nakiri, with the exception of the nakiri delighted with all of them, I find the weighted handle makes the nakiri heavier than I'd like, nothing wrong with it, just not my preference, all the others are faultless, don't hold an edge quite as razor sharp, or feel as nimble in the hand as the couple of Ryusen Hamono knives I have, but they were 3-4 times more expensive. In my experience Katto's knives are a pleasure to use and you need to spend 3-4 times more to better them. What I really came here to review is their new folding knife, just added it to my picnic set for cutting fruit. Almost didn't buy it as I already have an Opinel, so glad I did buy it. I'm an Opinel fan, but the elegant design and quality of finish of the Katto is commensurate with it being 3 times the price of the Opinel, still love the Opinel's design, but the Katto does, like all their products, just feel so much better in the hand. Have seen a number of Trustpilot reviews criticizing Katto's customer service, can't speak to others experience, but in all my experience their customer service has been attentive and completely faultless.

Ordered a dough scraper from their website and paid for next day delivery

I was expecting them to at least send me an email stating that they've shipped the package. But there was nothing.

I called their customer support, and the lady on the phone said she couldn't give me an answer and will call me back shortly. She didn't call me back. They still haven't send me an update email.

I'd forgive them if they were honest with me about my order - maybe it got lost or they forgot to ship it. But they're being radio silent.

This is quite frustrating because I wanted to buy a knife from them in the future, but because of this experience, I think I'm going to pass.

well I wanted to buy a set of knives plus an additional 3. Was sent an email with a price that wasn’t available online and a 10% discount code. Asked a couple of questions and get ignored. I’d say customer service isn’t there but I’m not worthy of being a customer to start with apparently. Very disappointed

Well you didn’t look very hard you have replied to my first email from James Baxter operations manager. Doesn’t give me any confidence to email again

Found that the quality of the knife was up to par for professional kitchen use. Did require a sharpen and a hone but that's pretty standard for ordering knives. Balanced and weighted very well, the scabbard didn't arrive with original order but was rectified quickly (people forget things so I didn't find this as an issue) Overall I'd say it's money well spent and will revisit for future purposes.

Ordered the pizza cutter, garlic press and bottle opener as Christmas presents for the men in my life. My husband and son were thrilled with the functionality them and they look nice in my kitchen so win, win!

Customer service goes above and beyond. I'm surprised to see so many negative reviews here as it wasn't my experience at all.

I signed up to the newsletter as usually that's how you get discounts, waited for a while and nothing came through. Upon purchasing a knife I received a 10% discount code in my inbox almost immediately. I emailed customer service and asked if they could cancel my order as I planned to re-order with the code and they went one better and applied it retroactively and instantly issued a refund for the difference.

Product arrived quickly and packaged beautifully.

Bought 4xSteak Knives through website. So pleased, they are an absolute pleasure to use. Have since bought kitchen scissors which cut through anything effortlessly. Neat loyalty scheme too that rewards purchases.

Absolutely love the product and when I had an issue with my knife the customer support was really amazing. Quick responses, really friendly and helpful and made sure that I had a replaced product. Absolutely love my santoku knife and will be looking to expand my collection in the future!

My experience is the same as the last reviewer. I ordered a chopping board, as seen in the FT, about 7 weeks ago. I’m not in a hurry for it, but I can’t get any response from them via phone or email. For the last 4 weeks I’ve been trying to reach them. I’ve had to make a claim via my credit company for a refund. I suspect they are no longer operating as a company but have left their website up taking orders.

Terrible. After receiving 3 knives which looked good, we thought we would order the chopping board and large knife stand. This was weeks ago. No response on email, despite messaging a couple of times. Sad really could be a good company but customer service is awful. Don’t bother is my conclusion. Have requested a refund but have not heard back yet. Not sure if anyone is there?……

My son opened his birthday present (a set of expensive knives) in front of a room full of guests, and inside was evidence of a used knife. I was mortified. This company think that mistake is worth the sum of £23 . The guests are keen to know what happened! I guess none of us will now trust Katto, neither will our friends, family, and friends of family, nor their friends. Infinite.

Purchased 2 very smart garlic crushers for presents both do not crush garlic. Most disappointing. The perforated area needs to be sharper.

Awful experience. Appalling customer service. Ordered a knife as a special birthday gift… next day delivery. Nothing arrived. We needed it for the birthday celebration the following day so called them. ‘Customer Services’ couldn’t get us off the phone quickly enough, said they’d look into it right away and call us back. Nothing. Next day we called twice, left two message & two emails. Nothing.
We sent another email asking for a refund. Next day we received a response… basically we’ll refund you.
How not to do business. Wouldn’t ever buy or recommend to anyone. Buyer beware!

I've had the Chef's knife for a few weeks now. It's a great all round knife and beautifully made. Holding up very well to date! Will be sure to return for future purchases

Excellent knife, great fast delivery service, and excellent communication throughout. Really impressed. Have now ordered a sharpening stone too. Quality of the knife is amazing! Thoroughly recommended.
