Legit, but direct contact customer service is lacking.
I did get exactly what I ordered. I got a GKD Mini Plus with the dock and a bag. All was shipped nicely in a box. Everything works properly as they should. I'm satisfied with that.
However, the system they use to track shipping (shop app) isn't very informative. I placed my order on the 30th of October, and received it on November 14th. It took them a week to ship it out first. It was shipped out on the 6th of November.
I did select standard shipping, so I'm not complaining about shipping time. What I will complain about however, is the method of tracking, and speed of which it took them to initially ship out the order. I don't know if these guys are drop shipping the stuff they sell on their site. If so, that could explain why it took them a week to ship it out. No other online shop like Keepretro has taken more than 48 hours to ship out an order in my experience.
I also messaged their Instagram account with an order receipt regarding my order 3 or 4 days after it was placed, and was met with only a read message. The customer service needs to be better. The customer should know the status and general location of their order as the package goes through processing.
Another thing... There's some big youtubers in the the retro handheld scene linking this site for their viewers to check out. Based on many of the reviews, I would suggest people stay far away from Keepretro. I got lucky with what I ordered, but the same cannot be said for many others who ordered from the site. I did save a significant amount of money buying the bundle I did from them, but I'd say you're better off paying more elsewhere so you don't get into a bad situation with defective/damaged or missing items, and you get a service where you can return or be compensated for your items without hassle in exchange for a refund.
