eSafe is a key storage device that can be operated via Bluetooth or by entering the code manually, to ensure access can be granted easily.

Easy to set up and use with exception of app. Would have been nice to know that the app is limited to Android version 12 and below. This is way out of date, however support suggested an alternative which is working fine with the safe.

The safe itself seems good once it is set up. The instructions however are very poor.

Good product that looks great and is well made. Seems secure and easy to install. Setting it up is a bit tricky and the instructions aren't great but once we worked it out then it seems to work very well. I would definitely buy one again.

Love the sturdiness of the unit. Really wanted one we could use with an app and keypad. Instructions for setting up the digital access wasn’t great tbh e.g we had a green light and instructions said blue but we persevered and managed to get it working. Arrived promptly.

Mechanically, the eSafe feels like a substantial and robust product. Electronically, it’s a bit of a mystery at best, due to poor documentation. I have managed to open it with the preset Admin code, but not without difficulty, due to lack of any instruction in the Hello Guide. It literally just says: “Open the eSafe”. An important discovery was that the power supply to initially open the eSafe, before inserting batteries, only works with USB-C to USB-A, not with USB-C to USB-C cables. However, I haven’t been able to add any User Codes, using the preset Admin code, which seems pretty basic, but maybe the instructions in the Hello Guide are incorrect? I followed these instructions, but always got a red light instead of a the green one, which would confirm that the User code can be or was successfully added. Or am I required to first change the preset Admin code, for the addition of User Codes to work? Adequate documentation has clearly been the biggest issue, so far! The Hello Guide doesn’t start with instructions on how to open the eSafe, has a PR Code that points to the wrong Manual for the Product, whilst the PR Code on the eSafe itself gives a clue to the correct Manual (V4.0), but the link isn’t working. I managed to piece info together, but am rather discontent, and haven’t even tried to use the App for anything more advanced. One guy at Key Safe Company seems quite knowledgable, but I am not sure this device can be reliably used. Another technical staff member, who I spoke to today, didn’t even know that the eSafe needs to be connected to a power supply to work. I hope I can get in touch with the guy who advised my pre-sales!

My original Esafe surprisingly failed electronically, but a replacement was generously provided by The Keysafe Company. The quality of the new safe is excellent and it was easily fitted using the previous safe's brickwork plugs. I tried to set up a phone Bluetooth link using the app but couldn't get it to work. Maybe I'll try again later, but it's probably me, doing it wrong. All previous codes were easily entered and all worked perfectly. Codes are easily added and deleted. The drop in price makes me think it's becoming obsolete but The Keysafe Company offer other very secure safes. Most of the cheaper key safes on the market are easily compromised/opened, but I wanted a safe that was secure, barring the use of a sledgehammer! I'm very pleased with the Esafe and also with The Keysafe Company.

Still unsure about this product. Technology set-up all fine, but the unit got water-damaged within 3 months and could not be released. Needed to force it with quite a lot of brute force, which destroyed the keysafe, to get it dismounted and to get the key back. Replacement item still functioning, but will need to keep an eye on it for any signs of water.

This is an excellent product at a remarkably low price for the quality. The unit is robust, well designed and doesn't look ugly on the wall. It is simple to use as a key safe and it does have some very helpful remote features. Unfortunately the instructions that come with the product are almost useless if you want to use the remote features. Fortunately the UK supplier is blest with (at least one but there may be many) super-helpful staff member who can provide some additional written user instructions as well as giving very helpful advice via the phone and online.

Looks a decent product but the instructions are very limited and the support from the reseller and manufacturer suggest they don't know the product either. Only buy if you want very basic functionality and are going to be regularly in Bluetooth range. No use for remote AirB&b for example.

I have responded to you directly via email, to explain in further detail regarding connectivity for your eSafe:
The key safe’s app works in two stages:
Bluetooth Pairing (Initial Setup): When you first set up the device, you need to be within Bluetooth range to pair the app with the key safe. This establishes a connection between the app and the device.
Accessing the Key Safe Outside Bluetooth Range: Once the device is paired, you can access it remotely, even when you're outside Bluetooth range. The key safe has a feature that allows you to request one-time passcodes or offline codes through the app. These codes are stored within the eSafe itself.
When you're outside Bluetooth range, the app will send a request for the code, which will then pull the stored passcode or offline code from the key safe's "bank" of codes. You can then provide this code to someone who needs to access the key safe.
Entering the Code: The person accessing the key safe will need to manually enter the code into the device, allowing them to open the safe without requiring an active Bluetooth connection at that moment.
In summary, after the initial Bluetooth pairing, the app can still generate and retrieve access codes remotely, even if you're not within Bluetooth range, providing flexibility for situations like managing remote access.
